It's good news for Bellator for sure. Crazy. I really think that Fitch is the 2nd greatest WW of all time. He'd be GSP status if it wasn't for GSP. It seems his prime is past though. He might've said or did something behind the scenes that rubbed the management the wrong way. Like Todd Duffee.
Hasnt he had it out for him since that card with Penn? I'm not sure but I think that's the one he compares with the card with Tito and Vladmir as worse of all time
It started with the video game situation. Dana fired him for not wanting to sign away his likeness and making it known.

I'm surprised about Fitch. The rest deserve to be cut and i'm not surprised. They've all been losing and unexciting lately.
Fitch could just be a money issue. It is a business and there's only so many guys that hang around. They're going to do the same thing to the Robbie Lawler's of the company in the next few months if they lose imo.
I do hate how it's done. It's been known for years that a lot of these guys don't even get calls and find out they've been cut through press releases. I think that's foul.

I want the UFC to fail........
UFC has over extended themselves and it's going to give other promotions a shot to add some great fighters which in the end I think will benefit the fans.
All the speculation is these guys will go to Bellator but don't discount the WSOF, it could be a better option for guys who don't want to commit to the tournament format.
The Jon Fitch cut I think was a bit more sinister than the rest. They finally got some depth in that division and I don't think they wan't Fitch to derail anymore up and comers and make them lose value like he did Silva.

Jon Fitch is 14-3-1 in the UFC, with wins over: Alves x 2, Paulo Thiago, Erick Silva, Mike Pierce, etc.
You'd have to be an idiot to believe he deserved to cut from the UFC.
I never said the cut fighters were THAT good. I just believe some of them [for example: Volkmann, Santiago, Sass, Etim, Mills, Hieron] deserved another chance. Especially when we still have Cody Mckenzie, Kyle Kingsbury, and Leonard Garcia employed.
Sucks for those fighters, I kinda liked matyushenko. One time in my UFC undisputed 3 career mode I was hoping for an epic title fight with Jon Jones but by the time I got there I ended up fighting Matyushenko for the belt
