Melvin Guillard left the Blackzillians and returned to Jackson MMA. .
that took a lot of balls i am glad hes back with them. For all his talents his mma IQ is nill.Which is why he needs a proper trainer to reel him in not peers, which is what he had at blackzillians. U can tell hashad is a lost man right now too.Dude seems really uninterested in fighting like hes set to retire.Cant believe hes been in the ufc for 8 years though.Time flies..
Hopefully Rashad and Reem do the same.
dont think any hw is going to want to join jaxons as long as jones is there :youngsabo:

JDS, Rousey, Pettis not ten but at the moment I'd put these three ahead of him.

Ronda's division is horrible, while Hendricks in probably one of the deepest and most talent rich divisions in MMA.

JDS is coming off a decisive loss, so I wouldn't put him above Hendricks. Although, I understand why some would.

Pettis scraped by Stephens and not too long ago lost to Guida. Hendricks' best wins [Condit, Fitch, Koscheck and Kampmann] are pretty easily more impressive than Pettis' [Cerrone and Bendo].

Jones is about to fight his second MW in a row yet he's still #2 on the p4p list?

This post makes no sense. Jon Jones has one of the best resumes of any active MMA fighter. Dude is on a ridiculous win-streak and doesn't look to be slowing down at all. MMA has never seen a better string of wins than Shogun/Rampage/Machida/Rashad [with 3 finishes].

This is all coming from someone who hates Jones

:stupid: Where did you pick up that I hate Jones? I've given him his just due all I was pointing out is he's ranked number 2 and fighting another MW. The fact that the fighters you listed are or were former champs doesn't matter, I'd be just as impressed regardless. My point is he should've dropped down a spot since he's fighting MW's at the moment.

I was talking about myself breh, I dislike Jones.

There is no reason for him to drop in the rankings. So what, he's fought his second MW. He's also destroyed the best his own division has to offer.

Two months before UFC lightweight Melvin Guillard announced via Twitter that he was returning to Team Jackson-Winkeljohn in Albuquerque, N.M., the gym's leaders voted to keep him from doing so.

Guillard (30-12-2 MMA, 11-7 UFC) had inquired about a potential reunion through former teammates, who then passed word to the gym's administration. The vote was unanimous.

"The Young Assassin" had angered the team in interviews he gave about a move this past year to Florida's "Blackzilians" team, a source close to the MMA team told MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps*–*MMAjunkie.com).

Adding to concerns, Guillard has two outstanding assault charges against him from separate incidents in Albuquerque in 2010, records show.

So when the fighter sent his tweet on Sunday – "Im no longer a blackzillian I went back to where I belong Jackson's," he wrote – the team was caught off guard.

"He's not allowed back here," said the source, who asked for anonymity given the sensitive nature of the talks and the team's history with the fighter.

So much for that

Hold up, Guillard left Blackzillians without checking if he'd be welcome back at Jackson MMA, and apparently he's not. :snoop:

Now he's facing assault charges in NM and could be looking at jailtime. shyt went south QUICK.

Didn't Hendricks lose to Rick Story? I haven't seen the fight but I heard he was getting outwrestled. If true, on both accounts, I have no problem with Pettis being ahead of Johnny.

SMH@Melvin....if yall were Rashad, would you all let Melvin come back to train?

He lost a very close decision. Since then, Hendricks has been on a 7-fight winstreak.

For the most part, Hendricks has faced and beaten [by a pretty good margin as well] better competition than Pettis.
