Why do braziliams hate wandy and Vitor so much?

Since when do Brazilians hate Wand, he's one of the most popular/beloved MMA fighters in Brazil.

Based on what I've heard, Vitor is hated because of his former 'badboy/playboy' image (this coming from actual Brazilians from Sherdog). Although he's hated, Vitor is easily the second most popular fighter in Brazil (he was part of a famous Brazilian reality show).

I've also heard that Anderson is the second most popular athlete in Brazil, which is pretty crazy.

considering the popularty of soccer in Brazil (shyts a religion over there and most countries)

Thats pretty strange, over the last 5 years I've heard the opposite, that Belfort was one of the most beloved in Brazil and that Anderson never got shown much love. And that is what was behind the Anderson vs Vitor fight, Anderson wanted to beat up their star and reclaim the spot light for himself.

Also remember hearing stuff like Vitor and his wife are all over brazillan tv, in multiple tv ads, and his wife at 1 point was da num1 brazillian super model, and on multiple tv shows and i think did a playboy or sumthin.

According to the UG, Cheick Congo has been cut because his profile has been removed from the UFC website. Shame. Dude needs to leave the Wolfslair and I think he will be ok. In the last 3 years his record in the UFC is 4-2-1

But still didnt believe it. Then I searched sum things and actually saw legit news reports and Silva in interviews saying this. And I was jus like dayum. No wonder y Silva is such as ass to every1, he really dont give a f ne more. No luv from his country, no luv in da states, jus gimme dat money n get out my face.

He for sure though has love for his family and close friends who supported him in the beginning. He's down as hell for his wife, and all his boys it seems. He always wants to hurry up and beat down whomever he's fighting just to get back to his house and gym.

NTM, He was poor and black in Brazil - You can't blame him for that chip on his shoulder- he had to climb 20 hills to get to where others could just walk up to. He's madddd humble, "I could be doing this or still be working at Macdonalds right now"

I don't even think he's an ass, I just think he knows whats fake and whats important.

Damn that would be BS. Kongo is still a top 15 HW in the UFC, but I guess when you look at his wins they've been pretty boring lately. His most entertaining fight was vs. Barry where he almost got KO'd himself. I still don't think that's enough to cut him especially with how paper thin the HW division is.

How is it a shame when hes practically regressed and does not have exciting fights (when he wins).ZUFFA only kept him this long because they thought he could be the catalyst to spearhead their invasion in to the french market.Only its not looking possible, good riddance if the rumour is true, dude aint even a gatekeeper at this point, just bum

The Las Vegas-based promotion has yet to formally announce Spong’s withdrawal from the bout, which was expected to serve as the evening’s co-headliner.

I just got home so I don't know what's going but Kongo wouldn't have been cut. He just wasn't re-signed. I was told they decided this before his fight.

His contract would have expired with his last fight and the UFC just chose to not re-sign him. They pretty much didn't want to take on his contract at his age.
