Not when its irrelevant it aint, remember (by hook or crook) the ufc is predicated on "what the fans want to see" its the same foolhardy ideology that was going to grant sonnen an instant rematch despite being a challemger that just lost to a champion. No one (not even forrest/tito fans) wanted to see a trilogy to that.Bonnar/Forrest fans dont want to see a 3rd fight to that shyt either and no one wants to see hughes lay on serra to another decesion victory again. Its just self indulgence with no real cache or marketability around, who needs that?

it aint even that serious.. every fight on the card isnt going to be for the belt or top contender.. established names still have a place to help sell the card :manny: you stupid if you think no one buys to catch those fights

serra wanting to end his career knocking hughes out then thats up to them.. its a whole separate issue than sonnen talking his way from being suspended to grabbing another shot at the title

they gotta have some fighters come down to 195 at least and challenge silva its soo many more match ups up there.. shogun and rashad are two i would like to see drop weight and come challenge silva

Y would they? 4 the longest time rashad has nixed the idea & as we know as we get older our metabolism slows down.If he didnt want to do it a year and a half ao why now? andersons will wreck his face worse than jones ever couldWhy because those are the only division the title can change hands in the nearest future? that is so lame, I hate mma fans with that mindset

Explain. Isn't a competitive division with 2-3 good fighters capable of beating the champion a good thing?

Explain. Isn't a competitive division with 2-3 good fighters capable of beating the champion a good thing?
Here is the best example I can use, remember when BJ returned to lw fresh off the gsp rape? Did he not look invincible? what you said is the equivalent of an mma head choosing to not peep that div anymore just because it had a dominate champ.Irrespective of the fact there were some dope LW fights during that time between fighters that werent even in the title picture.Huerta/guida, guida/sanchez, griffin/guida e.t.c I just dont understand the logic "as a fight fan" to stop caring about a division (despite it having exciting fighters) just because its champ is unbeatable

Ronda Rousey
Is this suppose to be sexy? cuz it looks really wrong..
:what: How'd you get all that from the pic alone? All I see is a look of mutual respect, but at the same time, a competitive nature rather than envy.
That competitive nature u speak of is a roundabout way of saying envy.Anderson has the sponsorship deals (even if its in brazil) hes vying for.Andserson basically wrote the style he tries to imitate. We have seen how the guy treats teammates that helped him on the come up thats a window into his character (or lack of one). So I dont know why you are making all these pleas

These are the most dominate fighters in the UFC(aside from GSP), you know...and there's also a way greater chance of them colliding in the future rather than Silva/GSP.
there are never going to cross paths for the simple fact anderson's legacy is already cemented and has nothing to gain from such a fight. The fight has as much chance of happening as gsp/AS which is nill
You put two alpha male wolves by each other and they're gonna get competitive on sight.
You think jones is an alpha? :pachaha:

Sounds like a bunch of strawmen built on assumptions and heresay to me. Talking about "we have seen how he treats his teammates", breh you ain't seen shyt.:stopitslime: As far as endorsement deals, all Jones has to do is what he's been doing...winning, and in dominate fashion, and the companies will be knocking on his door. As I said, he's cleaning out the 205 division, and he has to worry about getting endorsed? :stopitslime: Also...why does it have to be envy? If he emulates Silva, that would most likely mean he's his inspiration. It would go without saying that he looks up to him. This would be like saying a basketball player who came up watching Jordan and emulated his style is simply jealous of him and is working just eclipse his legacy and nothing more. Of course when you're inspired by someone, you look to not only reach their status, but to surpass them....it's called ambition. You also have to note that these men are fighters and competitive professional athletes before anything. They will fight if they have to. They're not brothers, nor best friends. They have a common respect for each other as people and fighters, but that's where it stops. You just sound like a hater reaching for any reason to shyt on Jones.(kinda like those Sherdog cacs)

there are never going to cross paths for the simple fact anderson's legacy is already cemented and has nothing to gain from such a fight. The fight has as much chance of happening as gsp/AS which is nill

$$$$$$$$. Him, Jones, and the UFC would get a massive payday from this. Yeah, his legacy's cemented, but you act like he fukking fights for the sake of fighting alone. If this were the case, he'd fight for free. They're the most dominate fighters in the world right now doing it...even people who know shyt all about MMA/UFC tune in to watch them fight, and would definitely be getting tickets/ppv to see them go at it without hesitation, and you say he'd have nothing to gain from it? fukk outta here. :shaq2:

You think jones is an alpha? :pachaha:

I dunno, seeing how he managed to shyt on the best 205(the most stacked division in the UFC) has to offer in such a short amount of time and is still an undefeated champion, you tell me how he isn't one. :shaq2:

If anyone's envious, it's you breh.:heh:

it aint even that serious
then why the fuk did you reply :what:..
every fight on the card isnt going to be for the belt or top contender.. established names still have a place to help sell the card
I am quite aware of that captain obvious but the ufc is in a precarious climate these days.Anderson or chael get injured and then what headliner are fans left with ortiz/griffin 3.A trilogy that only happened because one fighter wants to heal his ego and the other wants a safe fight where he gets a large pay cheque without getting hurt :stopitslime:
you stupid if you think no one buys to catch those fights
And 'you are' stupid if you think another "relentless" type event is a good thing for UFC
serra wanting to end his career knocking hughes out then thats up to them..
But he wouldnt, he already showed he cant KO hughes/is susceptible to l&p nothing to see here
its a whole separate issue than sonnen talking his way from being suspended to grabbing another shot at the title
I dont know what you are talking about the point is dana was going to grant a loser an immeduate rematch just for trying harder than everyone before him.The fans were clamouring for it despite what little sense it made so he had an excuse. If the fans wanted serra/hughes2 that would be one thing but only serra wants it and he hasnt exactly been a lightening rod for zuffa so its not even worth talking about it just shouldn't happen. end of
they gotta have some fighters come down to 195 at least and challenge silva

this dude roman brady must be new to mma.. this dude looks at jones and does psycho analysis :dead:

hates legacy fights by past ppv headliners :manny: shyt doesnt hurt anything.. if you dont like these thin ppv cards be mad at all the fighters using their new ufc insurance policies not veteran gatekeepers

hughes has a glass jaw now its not hard to see that a heavy handed serra would prob put him to sleep now

and wtf is so confusing about silva fighting at franklinweight (195) to fight a couple small lhw's since he has no desire to fight for the 205 belt?? he cleaned his division out a couple times

No your uninformed ass aint seen shyt.I have seen interviews and time and time again jones has incriminated himself the infamous ariel one that sparked the chain of events was very telling. If you know nothing of it get a clue.
As far as endorsement deals, all Jones has to do is what he's been doing...winning, and in dominate fashion, and the companies will be knocking on his door.
Have you not listened to his manager malki kawa? he thinks jones is the lebron of the ufc and is turning down offers until top dogs like nike or mcDs come knocking.I dont care how much he wins those offers can never materialize for a myriad of reasons.
As I said, he's cleaning out the 205 division, and he has to worry about getting endorsed?
He just had one of the best years in ufc history what has come of it? :aicmon:
This would be like saying a basketball player who came up watching Jordan and emulated his style is simply jealous of him
Funny you mentioned that cuz Kobe to me is the perfect example. He emulated jordan speech pattern, walk and playing style because growing up he'd see the way jordan was idolized and he was magnetized by it to such an extent he jacked it before moulding his own identity. Its the same thing with gaga (and Madonna). They watched these OGs fame with green eyes u can call it ambition hell kim kardasian has ambition doesnt change the fact shes taking a skeezy route to get there
You just sound like a hater reaching for any reason to shyt on Jones.(kinda like those Sherdog cacs)
And you sound like you share a lot of jones's traitorous traits so feel naturally protective towards him
$$$$$$$$. Him, Jones, and the UFC would get a massive payday from this.
:rudy: if AS was such a prostitute then why didnt he stay at LHW or face machida?
Yeah, his legacy's cemented, but you act like he fukking fights for the sake of fighting alone. If this were the case, he'd fight for free.

You are a moron if you think silva would ever take that fight but to each his own
I dunno, seeing how he managed to shyt on the best 205(the most stacked division in the UFC) has to offer in such a short amount of time and is still an undefeated champion, you tell me how he isn't one.
He could destroy the HW/LW/,MW & WW div & it still wouldnt make him an alpha male you moron :pachaha:
If anyone's envious, it's you breh.:heh:
I am envious of him because? what I dont have a white wife? I dont sell my black team mate down the river for riches? K

Just caught the post show for 148 and I cant believe how bias the panel were being. They all but discredited anderson's win, stopped short of calling him a cheater and made excuses for sonnen.Tim Kennedy, rockhold, florian, stann all buying into the same narrative :smh: do the ufc know how counter-intuitive it is to dicredit its greatest legend

According to Kevin Iole from Yahoo had Chael landed that spinning backfist Silva would've been KO'd. All the bolded are Cacs so I'm not surprised.
