Hey man I'm a fan of that crazy motherfukker  I'm just saying he was almost purely a striker and had limited experience in MMA yet he beat (at the time) one of the top MMA wrestlers and a former UFC champion in a real fight. A lot of MMA fans think someone from a striking background can't ever beat a wrestler but it's just the rules and design of MMA clouding their perception.

Josh Thomson: Nate Diaz didn't make weight for Fox 7 bout

I think the biggest thing is this; he is interested in a rematch with me, one thing he needs to remember before the fight even happened, he was complaining after weigh in's about how he was moving back up to 170, so he couldn't even make weight when we fought the first time. Nate knows this."

"I am going to say this directly to him. Nate, you didn't make the weight, so how are you going to make the weight when we fight again? That's the thing that's discerning, we all let it slide because it was a huge fight, but you didn't make the weight and you still lost. So unless you plan on fighting me a 170 then I'm not really interested. Like I said, I'm looking forward to the title shot, I'm looking forward to getting in there for the title. If I have to go through him again to do it, then so be it. Maybe you should start watching what you eat, maybe you should start doing that to take care of yourself. You couldn't make the weight the first time and that was something I was going to keep to myself, but you want to start talking trash? Saying all these things, knowing that I beat you fair and square, I guess next time we'll take 20% of your purse if you don't make weight."

"It's an issue I could have brought up and made a big deal about but I didn't do it because that's not the kind of person I am. I could have made a big fuss and taken it, rubbed some salt in the wound and taken 20% percent of your purse after you lost, but I didn't That's the kind of person I am, I moved on and I suggest you do the same thing."

:heh: it was rather obvious during the weigh-ins that Dana influenced the commission employee about the weight issue... Dana shouldn't be allowed to communicate with the commission employee while they are working, he should be standing there like everyone to avoid situations like these...the same way he isn't in the refs or judges ears while they are working...

Do you think Lee Murray could have beaten Tito Ortiz in a square up ok lets go fight? Really? Listen to the story, he was backin up and then Went IN on tito. It wasnt like they agreed to fight and had a fight. Tito just got KTFO unexpectantly.

I can't watch any Youtube videos right now (my connection is fukked) but I just heard that Murray beat Tito up in England :yeshrug:. Guess I was wrong on the specifics but most street fights are sudden and devastating anyway though.

That's a pretty original analysis there......breh :youngsabo:

I can't stand the Diaz brothers, the stink face they always have and all that shyt they do is understandable to hype the fights, but when they lose its namecalling and excuse after excuse. I do believe nate had a bad weight cut this time though....I remember seeing an interview he had with Ariel Helwani after the weigh in and he looked like shyt.

According to Dave Meltzer, word is that FUEL TV will turn into FOX Sports 2. The change may happen on August 17th, the same day the Speed channel changes over to FOX Sports 1. FUEL TV becoming FOX Sports 2 has been expected, but was never officially announced. UFC programming is expected to be a key part of FOX Sports 2 as well as FOX Sports 1.
