You're entitled to your opinion, but this post is way off base.
Post was pretty spot on, I'm not saying it wasn't fun or entertaining watching JDS mash up Hunt, but really compared to the last few cards they've put out, this one seemed water down.
We've all been watching Dana n Joe silva try to build up Glover as the future num1 contender after Gus, but come on, give the guy a real test already. its not like hes a youngin or sumthin, he has tonnes of experience already, lets give em a real test. At da very least, let em fight a gatekeeper like Bader, or put em in wit a wrestler like Phil davis to really test his take down defense. I dunno, I'm just really expecting more than a Te huna, to me that fight was pointless and just seemed like giving the guy a fight to boost his record and highlight real.
i know alot of you guys are huge Hunt fans, but his best days are behind him, he's up there in age and he's proven that he's a borderline gate keeper at HW. Yeah he's tough as nails, but he's never going to be a champ or fight for the belt, He hasn't beaten anybody who's matter in over 5 years. To put him in a fight against da previous champ really is a joke. I look at a guy like Frankie Edgar, who after losing gets another title shot, and then look at JDS after losing fighting a Mark Hunt, and its like come on UFC trying to hard to build back up JDS and give him an easy out. More and more UFC promotion is starting to feel like boxing, and not how the UFC use to be.
And even the TJ Grant fight, was nice for him to finally get a top 10 fight, but don't give him the title shot after 1 win in the top 10. Let him fight another top guy, then maybe title shot. Outside of Maynard, his last wins are guys like roller n prato, that shouldnt be a num1 contender. Would love to see Tj vs Thomson for num1 contender fight, put that on ufc on fox as 5 rnd main fight n then really let the free tv fans see 2 guys go at it, and then come in ring after, Bendo n announce title fight and hopefully the free fans now will pay to see the guy they just watched win, go against the champ.
Maybe its just after watching UFC n Pride in the golden yrs its hard to watch what MMA is starting to become now.

I wonder what excuse he will concoct if Silva wins
