Its strange the way brazillians act like being brazillian on american soil makes them some some sort of fraternity. But mention anderson silva and if they are not talking slick about him they are trying to get an american to beat him.First vinny malgeles now renzo? what is it about anderson that has all these brazillians so ready to play turncoat? its hard to argue that is not :mjpls: related

" Jealous ones envy "

To be fair, Renzo teaching Weidman might be more of a NY thing. Renzo's school is based in NYC, Weidman trains at Serra's camp in Long Island. There's not many other options in the area.

Most of the people picking Wiedman seem to be from his camp in some form. Those opinions might have merit but what else are they going to say?

13% on gym fees
12% for nutrition
10% to his manager
10% to his coach
8% on his camp lodging
3% for fight medicals
3% on equipment
TOTAL 59%

I get that these guys should likely be paid more but a lot of that is the cost of doing business. :manny:

This sounds like the avg working man complaining about having to pay for gas to drive to work, then buying lunch every day etc. These are the costs of doing business and doing something you love, if you want out, theres the door. Otherwise don't complain. How about try to be smart and offset those costs.

Equipment? find an equipment sponsor. Manager? 90% of these managers have no special training or degree or nething in this. They just know a guy who knows a guy and been doing it for awhile. Camp lodging? instead of paying rent for your 1 bedroom or sharing a room at the gym, go rent a bigger unit, and rent out the other rooms to fellow teammates, use their rent money to offset your costs then.

mma is already become like boxing in the sense its basically incognito and irrelevant most time of the year outside of like 2 big ppvs.I remember a time when us fans would wait with baited breath to hear fights/headliners.Now when stuff gets announced between events its like :ld:

see i don't understand how any of these fighters are spending this much on nutritionist. how hard is it to just to get off your ass and find out what your body needs. fuk all that fancy protein shyt. wanderli had a video blog for the training for the bisping fight and i remember him literally measuring everything that he eat by himself, and claims hes been doing it for years. it's monkey see monkey do, when it comes to these fightcamps now.

"“Let’s do away with the bonuses,” White said. “You don’t like the structure? All right. We’ll pay the lower level guys more money and no more f---ing bonuses.

“Yeah, it could happen. That’s what I’m thinking about doing. All the lower level guys want their money boosted. That’s easy to do.”

:scusthov:

“No disrespect, but who gives a f--- about Tim Kennedy? Is he selling out venues? Are people buying tickets for Tim Kennedy? OK. There you go.”
:russ:

“The bonuses is something we’ve been doing out of the kindness of our hearts,” White said. “It’s not something that’s ever been structured. It was something we liked to do. We thought it was a cool thing to do.

“Apparently, people don’t like it. They want the lower level guys to make more money.”

:dahell:

I know this is a business but that's some fukked up logic and reasoning
