I hate this style of retorting its a classic case of a dude on his heels.Where do I ever claim ufc hire judges? u just placed that their to anchor your argument :rudy:. I just stated if u are in north america and wrestling is your base you dont really need much striking/jitz cuz stalling will suffice.

ps edgar apparently has dropped to featherweight

:aicmon: on my heels? get the fukk outta here with that nonsense. Get off your high horse breh.

And like i said in my earlier post. Using your judgment, Phil Davis should be good right? Just admit you dont like dude instead of trying to slander him by saying he sucks, because you obviously havent had a legit argument.

Spike's making power moves??? from Sherdog.....

Spike announced a partnership with K-1, the world’s largest kickboxing organization, that will begin this fall with live fights streaming on Spike.com. Four events, beginning with the U.S. World Grand Prix Championships in Los Angeles on Sept. 8, will be shown on the website this year. Spike.com will also stream events in Tokyo on Oct. 14, Athens on Dec. 8 and New York on Dec. 26. In 2013, K-1 events will move to Spike TV, which is also when Chicago-based MMA promotion Bellator Fighting Championships’ events are set to air on the network.

Also, Gray Maynard and Joe Lauzon are gonna scrap @ UFC 155 on Dec. 29th...153 and 155 are INSANE!

And Dana rumored that UFC is gonna have a huge card that takes place at Jerry World in January. The only superfight they could possibly make w/o breaking up/moving up current fights is Spider vs. Bones...so I call bullsh!t.

Zuffa probably wouldn't dare put Frankie against Zombie in his first FW fight...could yall picture little Frankie having to fight the zombie while making his first big weight cut? Imagine if it was a 5 rounder:scusthov:

UFC Tonight info:

The 3 FOX fights are confirmed for Dec. 8th and they're taking place at the Key Arena in Seattle.

Luke Rockhold and Bisping are now training together :yeshrug: I guess that's supposed to be news b/c maybe it means Bisping is gonna start training full-time @ AKA :ld:.....if so, maybe Rampage goes over there, too...nahhh, Mo trains there.

@ Roman Brady: Originally you had called the aforementioned fighters decision magnets without specifying 'in their ufc career'. Therefore, you were calling them decisions magnets in general (meaning throughout their career), which wasn't even remotely true. You eventually changed it to in their 'ufc career', knowing your original statement held no weight.

Also, I love you call Faber a 'decision magnet' and a 'tag n fleer' in his ufc career, which again is largely false. He's won a fight of the night award, a fight in which many considered a candidate for fight of the year. In addition, his fight [absolute destruction] with Bowles won sub of the night. BUT, BUT, HE'S A TAG N FLEER. His other two UFC fights have been good [not great] as well.

Also, I heard Thiago Alves is rumored to be the opening fight for the FOX card in December. Hopefully, they match him up with Siyar again. That would :ahh:

Edgar vs. KZ would be :ahh::ahh: Instant contender for FOTY

KZ is arguably the most exciting fighter in the UFC [at least in the top 5]. His track record says it all.

Frankie cuts very little weight to make LW (around 5 pounds), I even heard somewhere that when he gets in shape for his fights, he's pretty much at 155 lbs. A cut to FW wouldn't be a big weight cut at all.

Thinking about it, a Korean Zombie/Edgar match-up makes a ton of sense and should be the next logical step for the UFC. Dana has said that if Edgar drops to FW, he would have to win a fight before getting a shot at Aldo. KZ is the closest fighter to a title shot in the FW division, so him and Edgar match-up perfectly in a #1 contender bout. Book this fight for Nov/Dec, with the winner getting a shot at Aldo/Koch in the first half of 2013.

If TKZ and Edgar fight idk if i could look away from the screen :noah:

I'd pencil that in as FOTY without even watching it. I think he can beat Edgar, but who knows how he looks at FW.

Those clowns on Sherdog were slurping the shyt outta Edgar, saying he'd finish TKZ and or handle him easily :heh:

Not sure how i feel about this

I think if we do the fight with (Anderson Silva) and Georges St-Pierre, it would be at a catchweight; probably like 178 (pounds), something like that,” White said on Tuesday’s edition of the Dave & Mahoney show on X107.5 radio in Las Vegas.

“Georges St-Pierre says he does (want the fight),” he added. “He wants to do it, yeah.”

GSP’s desire is definitely a key to making this fight happen. The welterweight champion has often said that he would have to put on permanent weight to move up and challenge Silva at middleweight; that he didn’t want to be one of the guys that bounces back and forth between weight classes.

A catchweight fight, however, could solve that issue, and leave both belts intact.

Silva’s camp has also been quite vocal lately, saying that there isn’t much left for him at middleweight. They have specifically targeted a super fight with St-Pierre.

So it seems the stars are aligning for this fight to possibly happen; at least, more so than ever before.

When asked if this could be St-Pierre’s next fight if he gets past Carlos Condit at UFC 154 in November, White even went so far to answer, “Probably.”

That’s far from definitive, but it’s the closest the UFC kingpin has ever come to saying the fight was going to actually take place.

“He has got to beat Condit first though,” White added, leaving an out. “That’s a tough fight. Georges has been off for over a year, so we’ll see.”
