I wouldn't say Conor is as overrated as Nate has been underrated but these Conor excuses are still ridiculous.

Conor stans can't seem to get it into their heads is that no one is saying he's not talented. He thought because he was knocking out FW's his power would translate to the other weightclasses.I wouldn't say Conor is as overrated as Nate has been underrated but these Conor excuses are still ridiculous.![]()
To be real i can see his power translating to lw againts most(exept for the likes of diaz, ferg, pettis, melendez)Diaz has always been durable tho. Only stopped twice in his career. I am exited to see what conor does next. Im all for frankie gettin the next crak at the title for 200 if conors up for it. Thats where the ufc fukked up. They banked on conor beating diaz that they didnt even think if what would happen if conor lost and isnt able to compete in 200. Who headlines the card if conor skips out. Lawler most likely but who else. This card is supposed to be stacked and most of the biggest fights are aredy bookedConor stans can't seem to get it into their heads is that no one is saying he's not talented. Not really sure why every1 is over analyzing this 1st round. Connor hit Nate hard and often and landed almost anything he threw. The problem was simply, Connor's power didn't translate at 170 and Nate basically ate them punches and walked threw them and stuck throwing out his 2 piece. The rest is mma 101, punch your self out, get caught, go for take down to attempt and recover, get reversed and tapped out. Nothing new, nice win Nate.
Conor was landing shots but as you said he never hurt Nate. People have said it looked like Nate was stunned a few times, but he's usually the taller man so he tends to crouch down and his balance gets thrown off.Re-watch the round cause that's not true.
Connected Lefts and Uppercuts:11
Missed Left and Uppercuts: 24
By my count in round 1. And Nate was rolling with most of those punches. He was never at all in trouble.
Also, Conor threw and missed a lot more right hands and kicks that I didn't tally up. Diaz' range was on point that fight

Frankie v conorDana's probably going to offer a boatload of money to GSP to come out of retirement and fight on 200

Conor stan: But bu bu they must've miscounted.Just to eliminate guessing..this is the Fightmetric stats:
SIGNIFICANT STRIKES LANDED, PER ROUND
Round 1
McG: 28 of 74 - 37%
Diaz: 23 of 62 - 37%
Round 2
McG: 33 of 66 - 50%
Diaz: 54 of 90 - 60%
There is no rhyme or reason to how the UFC pushes their fighters. They're about the kool-aid and the money. If they want to build up Nate Diaz, they certainly can. Dana just
Voila, all a sudden Diaz is the face of the UFC. Imperfect p4p badazz that does whatever he wants. What goes from here is up to Diaz. He keeps putting on good fights, the people will keep drinking the kool-aid.
forgives all past fukk ups. "Nate isn't the most professional, but he is the real deal. He's always had p4p potential, and I think he's finally put it all together. He's got the most finishes in Zuffa UFC history! Like he said, its kill or be killed. I think he's about to go on a kill streak. Bottom line, he'll give 110% in the cage. I guarantee fans get their moneys worth!" And even if Diaz fukks up, Dana just does his damage control like he always does anyway.

And Diaz main events are mostly if not all FS1. But he just main evented a PPV and derailed the McGregor train. Perfect time to convert Diaz into a PPV star.
Hopefully Diaz can get another big fight next. I'll lowkey be disappointed that he gets an instant title shot at 170 or 155 (like Connor might have), but only because the shyt don't make any sense. Beat McGregor and get a shot at 155/170. Huh? But that's the point, the UFC just be doing unwarranted shyt like that all the time. I don't agree with it, but If Diaz wants a piece of that action at the height of his popularity, then he should get it.
