I really think that if they go with McGregor/Diaz again at UFC 200, we might see Dana and the Fertittas selling the UFC pretty soon. There have been rumors of that louder and louder lately, and that fight looks like they are trying to stack UFC 200 for the buys and get the valuation of the company as high as possible for new investors.
There is NO reason for that rematch. I dont see anyone begging for them to run that fight back. Have McGregor fight Aldo or Edgar for the 145 title and have Diaz fight Dos Anjos for the 155 title.

He kind of did get smoked at the end.
The problem I have with this is how is Conor going to win? He can't outbox him. Can't wrestle him. Can't KO him. His kicks aren't that great. And don't get me started about his BJJ. Also, he can't keep up with Diaz's pace. Dude was legit pot bellyed during their fight and he still ran circles around Conor. I don't see Conor not getting tired past round 2 so I don't see any chance of him winning a decision.
No he didn't. He won the first round easily. He just needs to change his approach and realize he can't destroy everyone like at FW. He can definitely beat Diaz.

Then he should give up the belt and stop holding up the gotdamn division for a second time. What are they supposed to do let Conor hold the belt just because? Vacate it and let Aldo & Frankie fight for it.

How is it gutsy? If he or the UFC have no intention of having him return to 145 what's the point of keeping the title on him? Explain to me how that makes any sense.Even win he loses connor continues to impress.

I'm not saying he becomes a grappler or some patient counter striker. He just needs to fight more intelligently. That whole fight he was throwing nothing but power overhand lefts and those ineffective stupid wheel kicks

I don't see it. Conor taking his time would probably mean Diaz just eating him up on the outside sooner and more often, imo. He can't pace with Nate at all.
