Poor RDA went from Conor most likely with a cut of the PPV buys to a Fight Pass main event in a grinder vs grinder fight that has as much a chance of being an in-fighting, slow, grind em out war of atrition as it does of being a knock 'em down drag 'em out brawl. Glad I have fight pass though.

I don't know if the fight will play out like that. RDA has been wrecking people lately and Alvarez has a penchant for getting hit early in fights. It wouldn't shock me if RDA is able to take him out early, but Eddie is a tough dude. UFC does seem to be continuing their trend of putting quality fights on Fight Pass to build the service up. I wonder what other fights will be on the card :jbhmm:

Lmao Silva is a vindictive little goblin. Fight pass :laff: And out of all the fighters in that killer division Alvarez gets a shot coming off two dull boring fights. RDA starches him btw

Who else could they give it to? Everybody else is either injured, coming of a loss, has a fight lined up, RDA has already beaten or don't deserve a title shot.

Jessica Penne vs. Jessica ( cutting to SW) has been booked for UFC 199

Good to see Penne in the cage again. I understand her taking some time off after Joanna lit her up in the title fight. I enjoy watching her fight, slick BJJ.

It his own fault...11 days before the fight, you should be doing Cardio, Yoga and massages, and light drills to perfect technique...How the hell is hard sparring going to help?

You have been fighting almost all your life, going extra hard 11 days before a fighter is counter productive...It is like cramming for a comprehensive final exam the night before the exam...

Whatever Nate Diaz did, in the 10 days before the McGregor fight, is what every fighter should be doing...NO SPARRING...How much can 10 days of sparring help somebody who has been fighting for more than 5 years? You should be SHARPENING the sword, not putting it through fire and try to mold it 10 days pre-fight...

This is a silly comparison. Diaz probably spent those 11 days cutting and didn't have time for sparring. You face one of the best strikers in MMA and preparing for the biggest fight of your life with so much on the line you are going to go hard up to the last minute

To put that into context, Lawler didn't spar for years and was an inconsistent fighter. He started again and now he is champion
