At the bold, are you referring to Strikeforce fighters coming over or women in the UFC?

SF. There's just going to be a very solid top ten in each division now. Figuring you fight once about every 4 months it's going to take a long time to cliimb/fall down the ladder. Add is a few injuries and that will be the most frustrating part.

It will be a longer climb up/down the contender-ship ladder, but not by that much. Each division will be getting approx. 2-3 top 10 worthy contenders.

This SF news has me excited as fvck.

GREAT news. It's been long overdue.

The best thing about this is with all the talent they'll acquire there won't be anymore watered down cards like we've seen this year.

I hope not, the fight everyone wants to see is Rousey vs Cyborg. If that happens and Ronda loses, the division is screwed. I wonder if they will buy out Invicta now to add to the roster. Miesha said something about her Rousey rematch on Twitter so I guess it will be happening.

I really hope Dana doesn't screw over Cyborg.

With regards to everyone else after the 12th, they should just start heading to Bellator because they are going to get screwed anyway.

Middleweight division is super deep now with additions of Rockhold, Jacare, Kennedy, Larkin and Roger Gracie

Interested to see what Nate Marquardt can do in the UFC at 170

Cormier and Melendez going to provide some fresh contenders

“There is also the hope, obviously, that they can do a huge year on PPV if injuries don’t get in the way. Anderson Silva is going to the 11/17 show in Montreal. If GSP wins, they are going to have a call out or confrontation to set up Silva vs. GSP. Of course, GSP has to win his match. The idea or hope is to get Silva vs. GSP first, and if Silva wins, go with Silva vs. Jon Jones (provided Jones beats Chael Sonnen) later in the year. The idea is to do the major dream matches this year. If Silva doesn’t beat GSP and Jones remains champion, they could move to Jones against the heavyweight champion for a major year-end fight. The idea is if things go right to get two 1 million buy shows, plus big ones when Alistair Overeem goes for the heavyweight title, GSP vs. Nick Diaz if that one works out, along with Jones vs. Sonnen with the idea of five potential 700+ shows, plus Ronda Rousey vs. Cyborg which will garner a ton of attention even if the jury is very much out on what kind of numbers it would do.”

2013 shaping up to be a big year

Yeah I am glad to see Strikeforce put out of its misery and for fighters like Gilbert, Daniel, Barnett, Rockhold, etc make their way over to the UFC.

Also like Ronda coming over as well, hope Cyborg can/will make the cut down to 135. Sara McMann is also an Olympian and would make a good future opponent for Rousey.

That last Strikeforce is stacked, at least we will eat good on the way out.

Nate was all class in that fight, he coulda easily gotten some unanswered shots in on Demian but didn't.

Should be an interesting 2013 if all the potiental fights pan out as planned

:( I didn't think of Maia. He's one of my favorites. He's going to take the rematch! lol Finally after all these years. It's revenge time.

Dan Henderson says he's fighting Machida at UFC 156

Aldo/Edgar
Henderson/Machida
Rashad/Lil Nog

Most stacked card since UFC 126 I'd say

I like the way the GSP/Condit and Dos Santos/Velasquez cards are looking, a lot of interesting fights in my opinion

cyborg screwed herself. with bonnar's latest failed drug test im sure Dana is weary to let cyborg fight. the last thing the ufc needs is more performance enhancing tests come back positive.
