I'm not into all that black/foreign vs white fighters crap but the Brazil/black excellence emergence in MMA seems to have coincided with the numbers being down. Dominant black fighters are generally gonna have to wear the villan hat it seems and The Brazilian cats are in general while exciting as hell speaking broken/ no english makes it tough to connect with the State side audiences. So they're gonna need to throw out these "big name/big personality" fights for now, hopefully more cats start emerging.


So i'm not "mad" that they're doing this, I just don't wanna hear Dana spew his top 10, P4P, this guy that guy, ranking BS any time soon. This is a business, we get that

Are the UFC closing shop after 2013? Why are they so pressed to give title shots to cats who don't deserve them?

So Ronda deserves to be handed the UFC title?

GSP vs Diaz makes sense since IMO he beat Condit.....besides, if it works for Chael why not?

My qualm with that women's fight wasn't Ronda. It was Cyborg. She's coming off a roid suspension. She should have to fight someone before taking on Rousey.

And Diaz lost that damn fight, both officially and unofficially. Even if you disagree, you can't act like it was a robbery.

Giving Sonnen a title shot was a horrible call too. In fact, worse than this since Sonnen/Jones won't be a contest.

Cyborg isn't the first or last to be busted then get a title shot...people act like she is the only one who has ever pissed hot and your qualm is now redundant since she isn't fighting Ronda yet.

Ronda needs to fight someone to get the belt but IMO these are all tactics for Dana to get her to fight Cyborg at 140.

I agree how does Chael lose his last 2 fights then gets a title shot again? Same thing with Frankie Edgar, isn't he number 1 contender for the belt at 145? Correct me if I am wrong. Dana and co are going to do what is best for business and what the fans what to see regardless of the backstage politics

The thing about he Diaz fight is that's giving something to GSP not Diaz.

GSP is the PPV king (according to Dana) and you have to admit the guy has never asked for anything. He's done everything they want. He has zero personality and never comments on anything. If this is the one thing that's going to get him going and he asks for it, plus it sells a ton of shows, then I agree you have to do it.

I don't think it's really too crazy. There's two guys right now that have earned legendary career/alltime great status in UFC right now. That's GSP and Silva. If they both ask for one thing that fukks the division up a little bit then you do it. They're not giving Nick something, they're giving GSP something.

GSP VS DIAZ is a fight people want. They fighters want it. Do it while they're both in their primes. They've fukked up too many fights to name by not booking them in their prime. I like it.

I do have beef with Big Ronda headlining. I'm not trying to see that shyt at all. Especially against Carmouche who isn't even that good.
