In comparison, UFC is straight up confusing. These nikkas got 10-20 UFC related pieces of programming on a day.

He will put on exciting fights in the UFC....hes more than capable of beating every single person hes matched up with in my opinion. I certainly dont see that happening, and think Koshchek is a really bad matchup for him...but im glad thats hes back in the UFC

hope he gets to retire healthy and not be too damaged in his later years...every video i see of him he looks older and older, and not just bc of age. Hes taken mucho damage over the years, not even necessarily in his fights, but just the training for them i think

Damn it, Bellator would schedule an event in my city that I would love to go to, on Valentine's Day. I dont feel like hearing the wife's mouth, but may still have to go, and go out that weekend.

Don't know how many of y'all know about Vice News but they've opened a sister site covering MMA, its more about MMA culture rather than news stories.

Has some interesting things on there if you're into behind the scenes type stuff and getting insight into the life of a fighter.

Hey, I'm thinking of getting into MMA, but it's spread across so many channels and events that I'm confused how to get into it.

Does everyone here only watch UFC? If not, what are the other MMA sponsors (I guess?) to watch? Who are the top guys to watch in MMA? Any big upcoming fights? Any suggestions on how to watch more physical MMA rather than wrestling on the mat type MMA or is boxing more what I'm looking for?

I'd also suggest listening to the Sherdog podcasts--every single one of the shows is hosted by a dikkhead, but it's an easy way to familiarize yourself with what's relevant in MMA.

Some podcasts I like are Co-Main Event Podcast (barring the corny white guy jokes) and MMAJunkie.com Radio. The MMA Hour is pretty terrible now, they have access, but it is more of a vanity show then topical information. A long time ago I use to listen to Beatdown with TJ De something or another I bet if that is still going it is pretty decent as well.

I haven't listened in forever to be honest. When I was first getting into MMA I was just listening obsessively because there was so much I didn't know and I didn't really know where to find anything out.

Eventually I cut it down to just the Jordan Breen Show which I liked because he wasn't the typical MMA guy but he's also kind tough to take. I listen to the round table's once in a while.

I'll have to check out the two that you mentioned.

Forrest Griffin just posted a pic of his knee after surgery....damn. Ive had my fair amount of work done...but im curious why they had to make so many incisions into his knee? I thought it was a torn MCL or something

interesting...i need to a do a little bit of research on what he had to have done

makes a little more sense. Wouldnt be surprised if he just retires...he was on the verge of it anyway...this is going to take a year to get back to 100%. Its very possible, just gonna take time
