JDS confidence this week plus that resentment he seems to have manifested over people dismissing the first fight is making it hard for me to picture him losing

he's known for being a bit of a party animal. I wonder if they're sending him to rehab.

Weigh ins were good too. There's definitely a little more tension/bad blood between the two this time. Should be good.

Dana's refusal to comment means something is up for sure, dude never hesitates to put people on front street.

yeah they weren't as friendly as before thats for sure. Melvin is gonna go and get himself submitted. .. again. It's what he does when he fights mad. Ugh.

that could make him fight mad and get taken down repeatedly which is what i'm counting on. Cain has also had to listen to the "you didn't fight like you" for over a year so he could be fighting "mad" also and run right into an uppercut

That main event is gonna be sudden either way it seems

The GIF of him staring at Spider and Belfort was even more epic.

Damn...Junior is a black belt now :wow:

They're both in great shape...I just think Junior's hips are too explosive...if Cain gets him down I think JDS will just pop right back up everytime regardless...Cain's grind is gonna have to be relentless...we've seen Junior tired b/f and Cain may have the best cardio in the heavies.

every weigh in moment ever will be number two compared to the greatest weigh in of all time. The GOAT is also the ruler out of the cage.

UFC President Dana White recently conducted a roundtable with Brazilian media at ZUFFA headquarters, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

TATAME is reporting that Fabricio Werdum will get a title shot if he defeats Rodrigo Nogueira in early June.

"Yes. If he wins, they will have their title shot," White is quoted as saying.

Werdum and Noguira will be opposing coaches on the second season of TUF Brazil. The first series featured Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva, who ultimately did not fighter after Beflort suffered an injury.

What if Big Nog beats Werdum and JDS wins tonight....considering they are good friends, will Nog and JDS fight each other?

This should be a good fight. I'm not a betting man, but I'm rooting for JDS to get the ko again.

I dont care what Dana said right there, if Junior wins the next 2 title shots are gonna be Overeem and Cormier if they win their fights. If Reem could have been licensed and ready to go he would be fighting tonight. Thats who Junior wants and its the biggest fight they can do right now at HW. Not sayin Werdum doesnt deserve it but he's not gettin it til those 2 do. Big Nog is nowhere close to a title shot

they won't do Cormier even though a lot of people will ask for it.

They'll do Reem next if he wins and then a stadium show in Brazil with Werdum (i don't what they'd do if Nog wins because Nog has said he won't fight Junior, no matter what, even for a title.)

Cormier will face Frank Mir sometime April from what i've been told. It's about 99% done.

Anyways, I agree that Werdum has earned it with a win. Plus as a little bonus for sitting out about a year of his prime to do a tv show to help out the UFC grow in Brazil.

I put 1k up in coli cash for Jds and 500 it will last past 1.5rds. I don't think Cain will try to exchange a lot in the first round I think he picks it up in the second.
