I dont see him taking reem down, let alone holding him down. Reems chin is suspect but im not sure how Jones power can take advantage of it. Also im not sure how his durability is against those Sagat knees from reem. His effective range is right in Reems Kicking range

I think Reem wont gas if he paces himself but Jones will have to be all over him going the Cain Velasquez route of just trying to take him down until he is powerless. One-few of those kicks and or 2 of those knees as you say will give him revelations on life.apparently the UFC did some new type of confernce today and they didn't stream it. Dana says he's not involved in the Barnett talks, Joe Silva is. Again, he seems confident.
Dana says he's happy to never be in business with Randy Couture again. "He's the furthest thing from Captain America."
Dana: any fighter who has a PPV deal, like Rampage, has audit rights. He wonders why Rampage isn't doing that. "Everything he says is BS."
After much questioning, it seems like Dana just officially closed the door on Rampage's UFC career.
Dana says a movie with DeNiro and Stallone wants Chael in it.
Dana: if Weidman fights Anderson, it will not be in Brazil.
Dana: if Rashad wins on Saturday and wants to go to 185, I would consider him vs Anderson. It's down to him and Weidman.
Dana: they are starting UFC rankings. Their own official rankings. Wow.
imo this is one of the worst things ever and was hoping it would never happen.
Dana: 90 media members will vote on the rankings. The Monday after this event polls will go out and it will begin.
Dana: buuuut regardless of the rankings, I'll put together the fights the people want to see.

I actually like the idea of rankings as long as its done objectively and uncle Dana cant call favorites. This will allow some clarity to the divisions. Itll make it easier for new fans to follow, and for them to promote up and coming fighters.

Overeem V Jones huh? Don't overestimate Overeem. That K1 title is inflated, with a real lull in competition those two/three years, his semi final opponent stepped into the ring with a broken right arm and hand and his opponent in the final had broken ribs.
His kicks are hard but not that well timed or placed. His knees, yes that's a problem for anybody.
Overeem is good but Jon is more versatile. And he has the best with him when it comes to gameplanning and training. How Jon takes to fighting heavy is a big question too.

He shouldn't be fighting people like "Wagner Prado" and "Vinny Magu" whatever his name is, he manhandled Gustaffson, and only has lost to Rashad.
At the least, he should be fighting Rua, or Machida, or even Bader not fukking nobodies.
How is Gustaffson ahead of him, when he beat him.
