If you watch the press conference below you would know it wasn't as simple as that- They tried to get her to sign an 8 fight deal at 135 then kept changing the terms. finally Cris agreed to 3 warm up fights max at 135lb then the fight with Ronda but UFC/Ronda said no. The deal she signed with Invicta allows her to have the super fight with Ronda as and when Dana feels Ronda isnt bringing in the revenue

I thought the press conference was good- Tito needs more training in public speaking but his partner was very good
