I actually am hyped to see this fight, more so than any other of his last 10 fights or so. Mainly because I really wanna see the strategic battle. If a fighter has a strong striking gm, GSP jus lays on em for 25mins as u sd wit his pitter patter (hardy, alves) if a fighter is strong on da ground he stands up wit em n jabs em to death (shields, Kos). But Diaz may be one of the few fighters who actually has good BJJ while on his back. And we saw, GSP wanted no part of Jake Shields on da ground. So maybe GSP plans to use the Condit strategy and stand wit Diaz, and out jab em, work em. Which will b pure entertainment for me. As Diaz has better stand up than Shields, n Kos.
please go watch any diaz bro's match against someone who can wrestle. Their bjj is overated

Pls don't lump nate with Nick, 2 diff fighters. nate tries to be like NIck but is not half as skilled. The last time Nick lost to a pure wrestler in mma is 2006 to Sean Sherk.

Come on now, Nick has been solid on the ground, lets see with the step up in competition if he can continue is the real question. If GSP beats Nick, then jus move em up to 185 n call it done, cuz no1 else in WW will beat em.

I know 1 thing for sure, win or lose, Diaz always put on a good fight/show. Unlike GSP's boring victories. Jus look at da tear Diaz was on for a while.

Bj penn - bloodied up
Daley - TKO
Evangelista - Armbar
kj noons - was a striking war between da 2 of em
Sakurai - arm bar
Zaromskis - tko
Scot Smith - rear naked
Frank Shamrock - TKO
Denny - TKO
Corbbrey - TKO

win or lose, it'll be a good fight hopefully.

GSP is too smart to ever fight Diaz head on. He's going to try to leg kick Diaz's front leg to death. I just hope Diaz has an answer for that but the Diaz brothers seem to have a hard time with making an adjustment. I mean, they make no adjustments.

They fight just like BJ Penn does, if plan A goes awry they are basically fish out of water, no adjustments.

Let's talk Hendrick VS Condit. Who's are going with?

I can't see Hendricks actually getting ahold of Condit, he moves way too much. Hendricks hits hard but you can't hit what you can't catch.

I think we may see the return of the running man with Condit Saturday.

I'll be cheering for Hendricks but this is going to be a tough fight. He should have a title shot by not. This is one of the toughest stylistic matchups for him in the entire division.

I kind of wish the kept Ellenberger VS Hendricks and made Condit VS Marquardt instead.

If Condit wins shyt is going to be really fukked up. Hopefully they fast track Maia if that happens.

and those fights were in 2005 and 2006, u think Nick diaz is da same fighter from over 7 years ago.

i guess after GSp lost to matt hughes the 1st time, they shouldve never fought again as the result wld be the same right?

Or GSp shldnt have fought serra a 2nd time as serra already beat em. or maybe JDS shldnt have given Cain a rematch either, cuz same result wld happen right.

Its funny how u judgin diaz from 3 fights over 6 yrs ago, you should known by know in MMA anything cn happen, n fighters are always evolving. 5 yrs ago u wldnt think big foot wld knock out Overeem silly.

Nick said Gomi and Lawler would've knocked George out back in the day. He literally and figuratively sounded high in that interview.

LMAO@ Diaz shytting on the fans: "you would've gotten knocked out by grapplers!" :wow: at the drug screening comment. And he once again said that he's not sure if he'll pass the piss test :merchant: He said he could use another year-long vacation. :deadrose:

I keep feeling like this fight isn't going to happen. Too many bad vibes around it. Diaz is really fukking this up.

wldnt a perfect situation be Diaz beats gsp, then diaz fails his drug test again is out a yr n stripped of title. thus ufc doesnt have to deal wit da headaches of havin a champ who doesnt wanna do pr. GSP then finally takes his time to add sum weight n goes up to finally fight silva, condit/hendricks/markham face each other for ww champ. thus creating sum exciting at the top again.

which wrestler has he fought since then that would've forced him to hone in on those deficencies he had back then? Better question why would he need to when everyone that has faced him since he got bounced from the ufc has opted to kickbox with him.

yes because we all know both fighters approach the sport the same right? One guy trains with who who of fighters to constantly better himself while preserving his career with a risk adverse style. Whereas the other trains with ceasar gracie, goes balls to the wall n when that doesn't work he has no contingency plan so wilts and complains after the fact.:beli:

:rudy: u hurt your arguement with this point because overeem's failings could easily be linked to the suspension and lack of testosterone which aren't one in the same. As nick as been out a year he'll be rusty on top of his defeciecies and all.
