The Fox deal almost seems like a self-defeat.


You whet the appetite for the FOX channel shows by having the main event be the biggest heavyweight title fight in years(mma or boxing).So now, you make the fans want a title fight on every FOX show...but the main events have devolved every single show since. Hector Lombard and Brian Stann was the original main event for this show. Just think about that.

Hector didn't move the needle when he main evented on Bellator but he's gonna main event on FOX in his first UFC match?


Then on FX, you run Ultimate Fighter Live, which I personally think is great but the show airs at 10 pm on a friday night? who's watching tv on friday night....at 10 pm!????


They gotta get Ultimate Fighter on a better night and Dana and co. has to bite a couple bullets and put some title fights on the FOX shows.



And why didn't they just break the Bader fight and have Machida and Shogun finish their trilogy in the main event? Bader and Vera could've fought in the co-main and that's a more intriguing fight, imo.

I agree outside of Silva, GSP and Bones theres no reason why the other champions shouldnt be main eventing a Fox card because Cruz,Aldo, Henderson and Dos santos arethe least known champs and they can use the national exposure.

But on the Shogun vs Machida trilogy i dont see the UFC making that unless its for the belt. Lets be real Shogun is 2-0 against Machida I personally dont want to see that matchup again

It always makes me laugh when ppl gas up britney, yeah she might have personality and be more polished on the mic but lets not get silly in saying she looks better than arianny.If you compare the 2 without make-up it aint even a contest..

And the rumor is that Machida and Shogun are likely to be the coaches for TUF:Brazil 2....so that's why they didn't make the rubber match the main event at the next FOX broadcast.

And I agree, I think Shogun should've been given the nod in their first fight....but Machida can take him down at will and Shogun's been through so many wars...if Machida could land one of those clean strikes on Shogun, who knows.

Rory and B.J. were on MMA Uncensored last night talking about the fight so....it's looking like it's gonna happen. PLEASE, B.J., PULL THIS OFF!!!

Who you guys got tonight, Johnson or McCall? Their first fight was crazy. If the fight goes anything like the last one, I see the fight going in McCall's favor in the later rounds.

Why didn't they make this fight 5 rounds

I would LOVE to see BJ pull of a vintage performance and derail Rory a bit, something about the kid I don't like, can't quite put a finger on it tho.

BJ vs. Rory is supposed to be on the card as well
