matt mitroine and rashad both said the TUF contracts are not whats up to be and its pretty much a 'developmental deal'
but he confessed that he walks around at 210-190lbs so by virtue he could make MW. Look @ aldo, he's done his business at FW and being the competitor that he is he's set to move up. Its just the natural progression of any true mmatist that's in the sport for the challenge. GSP isn't being challenged but is resigned to staying @ WW because if he were to move up hed get exposed.I will never understand why the 2nd bj penn fight was so talked about, cuz using your logic that didn't make sense
Your right about all this sh1t... especially GSP. GSP has some HARD CORE fan's tho. You can't even get into a conversation with most people about him going up from ww. They need him to dominate where he's at because FOR SOME REASON,, J jones, silva, and even freakin Ben Hen all have maddd haters. Those guys just aren't liked and loved the way GSP is.

since they pretty much gave them free advertising of TUF, they get signed to a longer 'rookie contract' and get paid less compare someone they came straight out of japan or the indie curcuit
I think they refer to the TUF contract as a "$100,000 contract" but I think they're 6-fight contracts so they're really making about $17, 000.00 a fight.
I dunno, I'm less sympathetic when it comes to employment....nobody twists your arm to fight for a living...if they don't like the money, then just get into another line of work....they give you bonuses when you fight hard/perform well...they pay for your health care, etc. And they have so many fighters under contract...not everybody can make Anderson Silva money.

seems like UFC is beginning to reach it's peak talent wise, Dana need to do some more recruiting real martial artist and leave that TUF shyt alone
