Whole TUF deal seems suspect as hell. The first day of filming, Cat all of the sudden needs knee surgery and the pop out with tate/miesha promo pics, videos, etc. Wonder if cat was "talked" into getting the surgery:rudy:

It would make sense to have Ronda vs Tate on a promotional basis. That 1st fight wasn't in the UFC, so its a chance to bring fans in on this heated rivalry. Then of course the douche bag bf will show up, maybe coach, dat will lead to sum on screen shouting matches they'll chop it up n mk sum nice promo of that. Then if tate wins, sets up a rematch wit the Cat. If Cat beats her, then u end up wit Rousey vs Cat anyways, and u jus sold 3 womens title fights all wit nice build up.

If Rousey wins, they gonna of course push rousey vs Cat nxt and you still got an ez to push womens champ fight. Problem would've been if Cat beat Ronda at TUF, then who does Cat fight next? Immediate rematch wit Ronda, def not Tate as no buildup for that now.

Her husband is going on and on on the UG about how much UFC "took care" of Cat :rudy:

Hmm, I like Chuck always did. Cat woulda honestly fought anybody in his day I believe that.

Prime for Prime no Anderson wouldn't have been able to lean against the cage and toy with Chuck without problems BUT. .. Chuck didn't use ground and pound which he'd have been scary at and woulda been his best shot, prefers to trade hands, he doesn't check leg kicks, throws looping punches almost always which Anderson would see slip and counter, plus always fought with his hands down, Anderson woulda tagged him early and often. It's fun to get all hypothetical about but prime v prime I don't see how Chuck takes it

One of the things I liked about Chuck in those days of UFC, fighters didnt duck fights as much. Remember watching Chuck say F it, and going to fight in Pride Tourney, even though he lost, it was a ballsy move in the spirit of fighting to go overseas and fight in another promotion when you had guaranteed money in the US.

Not many fighters in the UFC wld do that none if they already had guaranteed contracts in place with UFC already. These guys get 'fired' from UFC and cry n whine about why they should still be allowed in. Go out n fight in the many diff promotions around the world and earn ur place in the ufc. Mk Dana n Joe come hunt u down n beg for u to come back. Don't like dis sense of entitlement some of these fights have now. Dudes were fighting for a lot less, before you and will be after you.

Chuck is the man. He can say what he wants and I can't even get mad. It was that attitude that made him the man.

Anderson was trying to fight Chuck around the ufc 90 numbered cards (i think it was those numbers. It's hard to remember). They were in serious discussions to have a fight.

Reports are saying Anderson may have fractured a rib. His camp and Dana are denying but that doesn't mean jack shyt.

I tend to go more with where there's smoke there's fire. :(
