Never took it seriously but he's trying to be Chael lite with it. Anytime a fighter says another fighter is scared of him it irks me. Scared people don't get into the business of fighting.

Just wondering, ne of you guys ever seen an UFC fight contract, or have sum inside knowledge on em, because i would luv to know sumthing. Tate n Liz had a fully signed fight contract to face each other, with all this hoopla wit tate now replacing Cat on tuff, doesn't ufc have to basically pay off Liz or sumthin to break that fight contract?
I'm guessing the contract had sum basic out clauses like if 1 of those 2 fighters get injured or if the whole card is cancelled. But pullin a fighter, and now naming Andrade Liz's new opponent would mean a new separate fight contract. Would luv to know how much they gave Liz for the switch up, 5k-10k?

The article someone posted a while back of their overall contracts was pretty air tight for Zuffa. I'm guessing the fight agreement is more so slanted towards the actual fight date/venue and then reinforces the terms of the overall contract as it relates to the particular fight. I could easily see where they didn't owe her anything contractually for the switch.

So more like the contract is a guarantee of apperance fees, and date or date range of the fight, but not exactly who your fighting? I'm guessing only when its a championship fight is it guranateed who you are fighting.
I'm just speculating based of the overall contract article. That said I would imagine there is only so much of a guarantee on who you are fighting.
Come to think about it Jones turned down the Chael fight originally fairly close to the fight. That makes me think the fighter has some say so but based on how close the fight date is.
