i shouldve fukking knownShowtime Pettis is really starting to lose credibility with me here. Dis dude didnt want to wait around to fight Bendo again, so he picked a fight with Aldo, he got his wish to fight Aldo, and now flopped due to a knee injury. While still injuried now, dis tool is saying he wants to come back early from his knee injury and replace TJ Grant vs Bendo at end of August. Sum1 really needs to slap this idiot.
Antony Pettis Wants to Replace TJ Grant Against Benson Henderson at UFC 164 | MMAWeekly.com

I was surprised Rashad rocked Henderson. Look like Woodley was scared of Shields. I don't know why.

Exactly how i feel about pettis now. I'll admit, i wasn't a huge fan of TJ Grant gettin the next title shot, but once a guy fights and wins and earns a shot, how dare Pettis or ne1 else, think they can just takeaway what he has earned.disgusting![]()

--'Today's Boston Herald is reporting that the UFC's 8/17 date at the TD Gardens in Boston is in jeopardy over a legal technicality.
Massachusetts has a law that bars foreign born fighters from fighting in the state without a valid social security number.
"The law has been in existence since we legalized mixed martial arts in the commonwealth of Massachusetts," said Terrell Harris, a spokesman for the Department of Public Safety, which is the state's regulatory body. "It's been brought to the attention of the UFC more than a few times since we legalized the fighting here. But they've chosen basically to ignore the law and hope tha they could skirt it somehow.
The law was not enforced in 2010 when UFC debuted in the arena and UFC has petitioned the state for an exemption. Harris said the law is the law.
The story noted Massachusetts house speaker Robert DeLeo wanted UFC to contact lawmakers to find a solution.
A press conference that was to kick off ticket sales has been postponed.
One would think if this issue isn't settled very quickly, the show would be moved to a new location.'--

Yep, the fight sells itself. The UFC is all about making big fights and that's the biggest fight the UFC can make in the LW division. Pettis was the last man to beat Bendo, and he did it in Bendo's hometown...now Bendo is the champ and he's fighting in Pettis' hometown.Woodley-Shields was frustrating.
You're a pressure wrestler that walks fighters down, gets them up against the cage, attacks their body and takes them down.
Woodley allowed Jake fukking Shields to "woodley" him
I can't even remember one punch Jake landed on Tyron's face...if Woodley would've pressured Jake instead of being delusional enough to think he was gonna blow by him like he did Hieron by lunging in and landing one punch, that's just dumb. He trains with ATT? They couldn't think of a better gameplan than that? And that muscle ain't helping him in the long run....dude gets sorta gassed.
I know he's being a brat but....I really wanna see Pettis and "Smooth" rematch....that fight would sell out in Milwaukee...nobody knows TJ Grant yet...they could've given him one more fight w/ a top ranked LW...the division is teeming with LWs.
Not surprised Suga was hurting Dan and was only mildly surprised that Stipe beat Roy.
Plus, Pettis has been passed up for a title shot almost three times now, so the UFC owes it to him here. Grant doesn't even need to take another fight really, he fought at the end of May (Pettis hasn't fought since the end of January) so realistically TJ can still fight the winner at the end of the year.
