i have no complaints for gsp except for him not finishing fights, i feel champions should punish and destroy their opponents

I have no complaints either. but what do you use to compare champs, but to compare their competition.

Hardy is a solid 6'0, while Condit is a solid 6'2 [Condit is a bit on the lean side, but makes up for it in height]. To say these fighters are small is laughable. I guess Rumble is small and lean as well. The size difference between GSP/Hardy/Condit is minimal. I'll respond to the rest of your post soon, I just had to get the size misconception out the way.

When I mention size i dont mean height. I mean size as in their core strenght, as in then hips, theighs waist. upper shoulders. GSP is physically stronger than harder and threw him around like a twig. harder gets thrown around like a twig by every1, but he is not physically stronger than any1. Look at that last photo of Hrader, his right arm has no definition in. lok at condot's waist, its slim, tiny. While you look at GSP'st waist to Condits, its a lot wider, his base is a lot stronger which is great when coupled with his wrestling acumen that he has trained very hard on.

Again, these photos only show, that GSP is not fighting a group of guys considerable bigger than him, its P4P not 170 rankings we're talking about here. Anderson Silva is knocking out dudes in higher weight classes. To dominate a former UFC champ in a higher weight class is a big task. Shoot, forget about Forrest Griffen, Anderson beat Hendo, another guy who has fought at higher weight classes, Sonnen as well. GSP just has not done that outside of Shields/diaz.

Like really, what have any of these guys done since fighting GSP? yeah its great GSP is the champ and beat them, but after GSP beat them who hasn't really.

Hardy
Koscheck
Alves
BJ Penn
Shields
serra
fitch
sherk
hughes
trigg
miller

I applaud you GSP you destroyed every1 the ufc put in front of you, that is all we can ask. But really who we fooling, none of these guys were really a challenge or worthy.

When you look at Silva's opponents, you got Hendo who after losing to Silva went on to beat Fedor, and is still a top contender at a higher weight class, Vitor went on to sink a arm bar on Bones Jones and almost had it. Okami still is a top 10 MW, Sonnen for what ever reason is still a top contender fighting at both weight classes. Demain Maia is still a top ranked fighter working his way back up the ranks.

Comparing GSp to Silva and Bones, Aldo is like comparing Lebron to Kobe, Jordan and Magic they are all great, but some1 has to be at the bottom of that special list. Its not an insult or a bash, just some1 gotta lose out.

GSP beat Hardy because he's a much better fighter, stop with the size/strength talk.

You're nitpicking GSP's resume. I could do the exact same to Anderson, Jones or pretty much any fighter.

Let me nitpick Jones's resume:

- Sonnen [natural MW, joke match-up]
- Belfort [natural MW who very nearly beat Jones]
- Evans [after losing to Jones, has looked mediocre at best. Dude looked terrible in the Lil Nog fight.]
- Machida [was 1-2 in his last 3 when he fought Jones, his win was over Randy fukkin Couture. Plus, he's a natural MW fighting at LHW]
- Rampage [is a shell of his former self and on a very serious decline. I don't even remember the last time he looked good in a fight.]
- Shogun [another fighter on the serious decline. Has become a gate-keeper brawler.]
- Vlad [cut from UFC]
- Vera [No comment :heh:]

You're taking small things and blowing them up, similar to what I did right above with Jones's resume. The same can be done for any fighter. Come on breh, you should know better. The fact of the matter is, GSP is 1st in most top 5 ranked wins [higher than Fedor, Silva, Aldo, Jones, everybody] and 2nd in top 10 ranked wins [second only to Anderson Silva], which means he is consistently fighting and beating the best fighters in the world.

Good Ol' JR weighing in on Jones-Gus

The Jon Jones- Andrew Gustafsson main event at UFC165 was an amazing fight to say the least. A physical and mental war that tested both athletes in every way and built to an automatic, organic, big money, rematch.

I had Jones winning but arguably the fight could have gone either way. Jones is developing the Floyd Mayweather syndrome in that some fans buy his fights to see Bones lose. Muhammad Ali had the same affect on some fans early in his career.

Yes I am nitpicking GSP's resume, what do you expect, we're comparing legends here in Silva and GSP and soon to be legends in Aldo and Bones Jones, lol. These guys are almost perfect, hence why they are on the level they are. If they had some huge whole in their game or resume or anything, they wouldn't be where they are, and they wouldn't be in any1's P4P list. But lets not get carried away here, GSP is not beating the best fighters in the world, lol. he's beating the fighters the UFC puts in front of him, there's a big difference in those statements. If he wants to beat the best in the world, he should've did that superfight fight with Silva. If there is no worthy contenders at WW take a fight at MW against a Munoz, or rich franklin before he retired, much like Anderson did.

This is what gets me to my point, when i judge p4p, i think of the guys they faced and the weight classes. If we called this a best of the best or best champion list instead of p4p, then I would put GSP ahead of Silva. but throwing this pound 4 pound part, tilts the argument to guys who have beaten other guys in or from higher weight classes. This is one of the reasons it would've been nice to see Aldo face Pettis before, but I guess we won't see that now.

No, GSP has consistently fought and beaten the best WWs in the world, whether you agree with that or not is irrelevant.

Staredown from the Weidman vs Silva II World Tour Press Conference. Anderson making sure we don't have a repeat of the first staredown.
