That's not a credible "someone" and "cracked" can mean anything in an off the cuff post on a message board.

It was reported by the texas commission that he was suspended medically for a possible jaw fracture
Did you see what happened when Cain gave JDS room to work his striking? He got KO'd. If Cain were to with the same gameplan as the first fight, he would likely get dropped by JDS.
Well then, good thing that Cain improved past JDS's skill level, right? And the fact that you think that the Cheick Kongo fight is still relevant after this much time is just outright laughable. We all know that Cain's improved by huge leaps, since.http://www.mmafighting.com/2013/10/...sions-junior-dos-santos-out-indefinitely-cainFairly sure you're thinking of Dos Santos, if I'm not mistaken.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos and two others received indefinite medical suspensions in the aftermath of UFC 166, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Dos Santos lost via a bloody, brutal fifth-round TKO stoppage against UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez in Houston, TX at the main event of UFC 166. Due to the extensive damage dos Santos suffered, the 29-year-old will be held out indefinitely pending clearance from a throat, nose and ear physician.
Velasquez, meanwhile, is to be sidelined until April 18, 2014 due to a potential broken jaw, although the champion may return earlier if cleared by a physician.
Like for example, look at Gus/Jones. Gus managed to out-grapple Jones [not by much though], but does that mean he's the better wrestler? No.
Both, then! Then I gotta give credit to my man Cain for shrugging it off, making it look like nothing.he's just got a dynamite right hand
More and more JDS's early win is looking more and more like a lucky punch.
JDS is getting outstruck by a WRESTLER
Especially when you get your ass dropped by a guy who isn't even a specialist in the shyt that you are supposed to be soooo amazing in
Cain is far better because of all the things that I mentioned before and anyone who tries to say that JDS is better at anything than Cain is living in a world of denial.
Swinging away at a bunch of past their prime fighters outside of Shane Carwin isn't a convincing statement of superiority to me.
@DaygoTaco
It's pointless to argue with you when you make false and mis-informed statements like:
I'm seriously questioning if you truly follow the sport [as someone more than a casual]. Honestly, just re-read and think about the above-mentioned statements because each one of them are either untrue or just completely outrageous.
The last one was one of the worst. JDS's resume is one the best in HW history [all of MMA, not just UFC] and easily as good as Cain's resume. JDS has consistently fought and beaten most of the best the UFC HW division has to offer.Yet, he's faced 'a bunch of past their prime fighters outside of Carwin'? I give up breh, you've made it that clear, that no matter how false or inaccurate, you won't budge on any of the statements you've made.
Your entire argument rests upon insisting that despite Cain effectively outstriking JDS, JDS is still the better striker. In fact, this entire post is just you insisting that I'm wrong without actually providing anything to support that conjecture. Cain beat JDS because he's better on all fronts, and yes, that includes striking. Would you like to see the gif again of fights two and three? What excuses are you going to make for JDS now? He get the hiccups or some shyt?

Not providing any support? Re-read my posts, reading comprehension is a must breh.
Throughout his full UFC career, JDS has displayed better striking [against better strikers] than Cain.
Mark Hunt tho.Against which better strikers than Cain? If they were better strikers than Cain, why was Cain able to so easily out strike him? Your logic is so delusional it's staggering. So desperate to give JDS a cookie of a consolation prize that doesn't exist that you actually have convinced yourself that despite getting so thoroughly outlanded, outpaced, and fell to a superior strategy, that he is the better striker.
Mark Hunt tho.
Perhaps. I still think that Mark Hunt was better during his prime days in Pride, but yeah.Against which better strikers than Cain? Let me clarify my post: Looking at their full UFC careers, JDS has displayed better striking than Cain. Furthermore, for the most part, JDS has faced the better strikers. For example, Hunt, Carwin, and Werdum have better striking than anyone that Cain has faced.
