I dunno....I've always heard that Silva's deceptively strong as shyt for his build....especially in the clinch. Machida may have a strength advantage, but it's not like he's gonna manhandle dude or anything. His lower center of gravity is really what would make the difference....

If anybody's deceptively strong, it's Machida. He's faced some really good grapplers and all of them have struggled to out-muscle/out-grapple him. Machida's clinch game is superior to Silva's, his trips/throws from the clinch are He won't manhandle Silva, but he will def. have the strength advantage.

i should probably be more excited for baroa vs cruz but i will just be happy when its over.In a way cruz's absence has helped get barao some much needed notoriety, its not like the division doesnt need it

as for gus/lil nog, the fukk do we have to wait all the way till march for?

Cruz should've took a tune-up before fighting Barao I don't see that fight going well for him.

Lil Nog is a step down for Gus but I guess he's the only available option in the UFC's opinion, should be easy work for him.

I agree, fighting Barao after a long layoff and major surgery is a recipe for disaster. If Cruz comes in looking as good as he once was, it will a very interesting fight. Either way, I'm taking Barao.

I see Aldo, Barao and Gus all soundly winning their fights.

Damn. Pre knee injury he'd have his hands full still but Cruz could for sure have made it interesting in there with Renan. The fact he's had multiple operations on that knee is a big ass question mark. It'd have been better for the dude had he been stripped and given a semi tune up before title fight but it is what it is.
