Cerrone's probably superior on the feet, too, skill-wise. Wasn't he a MT champ? He's really only been outstruck once and that was by Diaz.


Jon got tagged by Machida and stumbled backwards.

Rashad landed a head kick that made Jon retreat and he also landed a heavy overhand....he also took some heavy leg kicks from Rashad.

Let us not forget the illegal upkick from Vera either.

As much as I support a brethren that KO just felt so good.After a great 2-3 fights dude started being contented gsping his way to wins.And his attitude when criticised really made me want to see him in a fight like this. He failed epically how he handles this loss will define his career.Hes already l&p his way to this point so he better work on his striking/jitz or call it quits

Too bad this discussion has been about whether or not Jones is envious of Silva or not. Quit trying to change the rules now. I claimed that Jones idolizes and respects Silva, and posted an interview backing that, you claimed that Jones envies him, yet speculated from a picture.

Yeah because everything judas jones says in his interviews is genuine and gospel right?

Secondly, I will agree with you on the fact that him facing Silva now wouldn't mean much considering that Anderson's on his way out. ...but again, what's the point of being envious of what Silva has earned? I could understand if he wasn't deserving of his spot, but Jones could be very well on the same path if he keeps it up.

Third, you and I both know that the UFC likes to hype fights up with that WWE rivalry bullshyt, so I take all that stuff with a grain of salt. Besides, his behavior with Rashad is irrelevant with how he gets along with Silva.

I think Jones receives an awful lot of unwarranted flack IMO...yet another case of "the nail that sticks out the most is hammered down". It's because he's this kid from New York who entered the UFC with little training and has been whooping on the best, of whom have trained and/or fought for a decade if not longer, and that may seem frustrating to elitist MMA fans. Nah its that personal shyt that shows the kind of person he truly is.I have never cared for the holier than thou persona, I hated randy 4it, I hated it in samuraimachida, detested gsp for it.Belfort loses me when he gets on tht flex...And now jones is jocking for that spot..The only difference between jones and the other ppl mentioned is that they are better actors.
