Build a company from grass roots and not make any traction after x amount of years then accept the first offer you get from a media giant only to get fired by them :snoop: All those shady contract dealings were a PR nightmare glad I never have to see that snake on the web again
no chance, viacom will hold on with an iron fist (even though they see no value) & will ratchet the price just cuz.Zuffa have no reason to other than to acquire the contracts of 2 lhws and dantas..

In another direction but I think this is the reason why Dixie Carter didn't want to sell TNA to them. Because that company is doing 10x worse then bellator(who actually pulled 100k buys for that card). Viacom will cut her the first chance it gets. She should know since she basically did the same to Jeff Jarrett

Vacom owns them. They aren't selling. I heard Bjorn was on the outs ever since that whole Alvarez fiasco. And the PPV cancellation did not help

Josh Barnett wants to fight JDS. If he can survive that initial onslaught I think Josh make it a fight. That's a really BIG IF tho. Especially if JDS has mentally recovered from that Cain mauling.

I don't hate the idea of the fight, although if I were Barnett I'd be angling for a rematch with Travis Browne

Although JDS does tend to slow down, he can finish the fight at any time. I think this is a terrible match-up for Barnett, props to him for calling out a very tough opponent though.

They need to make Barnett VS Bigfoot! let them settle their beef. I've been waiting for that fight for years. It would be much more competitive.

http://www.cagepotato.com/wild-rumor-of-the-day-ufc-174-did-less-than-100000-pay-per-view-buys/

Yesterday, MMAFighting’s Dave Meltzer reported that UFC 173: Barao vs. Dillashaw pulled an estimated 200,000-215,000 pay-per-view buys.

Here’s Meltzer discussing the early estimates in his newsletter yesterday:

It’s too early to get accurate numbers, but every indication we’ve gotten was very bad, and that it showed a steep decline from UFC 173, which was among the lower numbers of the last eight years. UFC PPV shows usually range from 200,000 to 500,000 Google searches after the event, and are usually in the top few searched for items in the country. A bad show may only do 100,000. Bellator’s show last month hit 100,000. A big show can top 500,000, with the shows that hover around 1 million buys usually doing anywhere from 1 million to 5 million searches. This show did less than 20,000, unheard of for a PPV..

not surprised UFC have way too many events, MMA is at it's best in a tournament format like how it first started

On paper, tournaments are a great idea. Unfortunately, injuries are a big problem. And what does the champion do during a tourney? Wait on the sidelines for the winner? We already have champs not fighting enough. If the AC didn't have their rules/regulations, an 4 or 8 man one day tournament would be :banderas:
