What's wrong with wanting Semtex back in the UFC? He's a solid and [very] exciting fighter with the potential to be top 10.

IDK. He seems like a guy who wont be satisfied fighting prelims for less money. Better to not deal with that headache. The WW division is stacked so I don't see where he fits in. Its not like an Arloski situation

He would likely be on the main card, not the prelims. Daley would put up a good fight against most of the top 10-15 (he would even beat a few of them). Daley is still in his prime, while AA is a shell of his former self.

I see him beating DHK (assuming we see the new DHK) and Ellenberger. Toss up against Matt Brown and Saffiedene. He would lose to the rest, but against the strikers, he would make it very interesting. Daley has the power to finish anyone in the division.

Dude dana aint open to the idea and is never going to be for reasons probably other than daley's actions so why labor the issue :why:
You by far have some of the worst post on this board sometimes :what:
Stop it, since edgar beat penn there has been great white hope rhetoric to the way hes marketed. MMA's rocky and all that jazz just further illustrates. But the guy just doesnt leave an impression not in interviews and not in fights so much so he had back to back rematches with 3 different opponents IN SUCCESSION!!. Penn was/is the prodigy & this sunday will have competed in 4 different weightclasses. Yeah hes a whiner and hes quit but what he brought to the sport cant be forgotten. You look around the ufc today and you realize there isnt a bj penn and there probably never will be

I can find an edgar in bellator :ld:

Misaki is a solid fighter.
Did I say he was a scrub? fact is he beat daley in daley's office and considering he was finished by santiago and melvin fukin manhoef thats not a good look
@ the bolded, might as well cut most of the roster because they would also have their limitations on display when they fight fighters in the upper echelon. And that would be a waste of everyone's time.
:what: its evident daley is gatekeeper at best you wouldnt bring in saunders to the ufc and purport him as a dude that could beat lombard/hendricks would you? which fan would buy that? like i said the genie is out the bottle and everyone with sense knows daley is and will never be elite in the ufc.You cant sell that as a contender and expect to put asses in seats, lot of inbred dumb fans in mma but no one is that gullible

I only agree with Ellenberger but thats because hes a coward fighter now. DHK would outgrapple him if he was smart. Saff is way to versatile for Daley. Like I said, if he comes in as a prelim/lowcard fox guy cool but to say hes a contender or would be at this point is laughable

I fail to see any racial agenda in this whole post.

If Daley were to improve his ground game, he would easily be an elite fighter. Right now, with favorable match-ups he would also easily crack the top 10. Daley has the striking and power to finish a lot of solid fighters in the UFC.

:heh: at you comparing saunders to Semtex.

Getting finished by Manhoef (via strikes) is a bad look? I'm starting to doubt you even follow the sport.

Who said there was a racial agenda :why: I just think if you truly love mma you would want to see the prodigy retire having avenged 2 big losses. I dont see what there is to edgar as a personality/fighter to stir any strong emotion to root for him but if one did it would because they see a likeness/to live vicariously through him

Dude there is nothing unique about edgar, todays mma (ufc especially) as a slew of these so called tactical fighters that punch in bunches but with very low impact & often go to decision

unlike these "tactical fighters" Edgar isn't trying to point fight. dude is just fighting to the best of his ability. it aint much but it was enough to get a good reign at LW, and he at least KO'd Maynard. It ain't like he's like Bendo, Rory or Uriah hall who frustrate you when you watch them fight on some play it safe shyt. he stay going to war

He's a top 3-5 striker in the division with tons of power. I don't see how him potentially being a contender is laughable. Current DHK would get blasted. Like I said, vs Saffediene, it's a toss-up. Saff is a bit more versatile, while Daley holds a huge advantage in power.
