McDonald? And he's a better striker than Saffiediene, better hands and way more power. Including Diaz and GSP, Daley is still top 5-6 striker in the division.

Why are you basing Daley striking prowess soley on Power. If thats the case, Nelson is top in the HW along with Rampage in LHW. Macdonald has kicks, knees, solid boxing, etc. Hes a better striker then Daley. Same with Saffiediene.

Power is one his main attributes, but I'm not basing his striking solely on his power. Like I've said, he has good hands and knees. His kicks (although not used that often) are pretty good as well. There is no way MacDonald is a better striker, he has mediocre knees/kicks with a good jab (utilizes his reach really well though).

Although, Saffiediene is a good/technical striker, he has finished 1 person by strikes in his career. That's inexcusable.

And the proof is in the pudding, Daley has 27 finishes via strikes out of his 34 career wins (almost 80%). Saff is at a whopping 7%, while Rory is at 35% (with most of his finishes via strikes coming from ground & pound)

You're just grasping now. Mcdonald has mediocre legs? He has one of the best question mark kicks in the UFC. Hes knees/ front body kicks were what slowed BJ/Woodley down. And now you are adding finishes to striking proficiency now. Mendes has more KO wins then Edgar. Does that mean hes an all around better striker?

Grasping? His kicks are okay, decent for scoring points, but that's about it. I know finish rate (via strikes) doesn't tell the whole story, but it's still important when you are looking at a person's striking ability.

That too. I am actually looking forward to this season of TUF. Rousey will continue to the premiere star in WMMA, but collectively as a whole I think the strawweight division will be more exciting.

Agreed. He's that underdog with tremendous heart, determination, and a great chin/recovery. Nothing to do with race. During the Maynard fights, it was almost impossible to cheer against Edgar. Seeing him get dropped badly numerous times and coming back was
