Rumble has a personal beef with Reem. He just doesn't like him. Reem doesn't have a beef with Rumble. Rumble used to try to go hard as possilble on Reem in practice and actually broke his hand before on Reem's head from trying to hit him so hard.

I'm glad Reem left that camp. He just didn't fit with those personalities.

That's in the gym. Rashad claimed he would out wrestle Bones in training too, then when fight night came it was a whole different story.

Wrestling is different. When you're practicing wrestling you're not hitting each other. Rashad couldn't get close to Jones to wrestle. Rumble and Reem threw hands somwhat seriously and Rumble beat his ass.

But the reality is Reem is bigger and stronger. He would destroy Johnson in the clinch. Reem is still dangerous. He was winning those Browne/Silva fights easily before he gassed

TORONTO - Veteran UFC fighter Joe (Diesel) Riggs' return to the Octagon has been put on hold after accidentally shooting himself in his Arizona home.

"We were made aware that newly signed UFC competitor Joe Riggs was involved in an unfortunate accident last night," the UFC said in a statement Tuesday. "While cleaning his permitted firearm (a pistol), the gun discharged, injuring his hand and upper thigh. Riggs was transported to a nearby hospital in Arizona where he is being treated by physicians. We wish Joe a speedy recovery."

The 31-year-old Riggs, who last fought in the UFC in 2006, was slated to face welterweight Paulo Thiago on Sept. 13 on a televised card in Brasilia, Brazil.

The UFC said a replacement opponent for Thiago will be announced shortly.

Riggs (28-9-0) made his UFC debut at UFC 49 in August 2004, submitting Canadian Joe Doerksen. His UFC fight card includes a hospital brawl with Nick Diaz after the two fought at UFC 57.

Former UFC champion "Cigano" hasn’t fought since his third bout with heavyweight kingpin Cain Velasquez in October, and the knockout artist told MMAFighting.com he’s hoping to face Miocic in his return to the Octagon later this year.

The Rio card is in October and JDS said that's too early for him. He's aiming a November come back.

Like I said, sparring is sparring. Practice. We talking practice man ( voice). Johnson could have been going hard due to his dislike of Reem/being smaller and having something to prove. Reem is a K1 grand prix champion. Outside of a lucky shot, Johnson has no chance. Reem chin is suspect but so is Arloski. Johnson couldn't KO him with his best punches, which proves that weight classes make much more of a difference then let on. Lets not get hyped off Johnson smashing cans, putty hand Davis, and AARP Nog. Hes still very slow and hes cardio is suspect too, which would be zapped from Reem knees in the clinch. And I haven't even got into the ground game, where Reem has solid grappling and Johnson is still shakey off his back. Johnson doesn't want those problems

Gas tank seemed fine vs Davis Was active and spry the entire fight.

The 2nd and 3rd round of Reem vs Mir on the other hand

We gone see tho. Reem might as well take the fight. He can take the L or W and hopefully still be able to sidestep a fight with JDS
