You're talking like the fight wasnt stopped literally 1 second after he hit the ground. There was no time to know what was about to happen. They didnt even let him try to use Brazillian Jiujitsu. Sad stoppage.

Silva was dropped lights out by weidman in the clinch. Barao went timber from that left. Plenty of people have been knocked silly and allowed to recover. Like I said, I'd this wasn't Bendo (who's hated by the majority of MMA fans for some reason) more ppl would be pissed. People were crying about that Faber stoppage even though he was turtled up for a min straight. And not to be racist, but Bendo has uneven crossed Asian eyes. He always looks slow/dazed.

to be honest the fact that there is an outcry over what was a good stoppage shows these so called bendo haters are quite neutral. Mentioning the faber fight is a bit considering it was a title fight and faber is a fan favorite running outta chances

Not sure I'd say he's 1-2 fights away from a title shot as that loss to Khabib hurts him a lot but that was certainly a huge win for him. RDA has been getting better and better over the years. It's unfortunate that his first impression on most people was getting his jaw uppercutted into the the tenth row by Stephens as he was putting on a grappling clinic in that fight.

RDA is 7-1 in his last 8 fights, with wins over the consensus #2 LW in the world and Cerrone (a top 5 LW and the other contender). The Khabib loss does hurt his stock, but he's still in the title picture. Right now, you have the winner of Cerrone/Alvarez and dos Anjos as LW contenders (keeping in mind that Khabib is injured).

Look at that gif again. Bendo arm came up to defend himself as soon as RDA rushed. He was literally crawling around John legs as soon as he came over. Now look at this

Barao fell on his damn arm and did not have his hands up to protect himself at all. No stoppage. At least let the man have a chance to defend himself. And there is no outcry. No one here is vocal about this exept me. Go check Sherdog or UG. No one cares.
