Am I being to harsh on Gus for laughing at this sense of entitlement he's currently showing? Dude is talking about fighting in Sweden for the belt and is willing to wait years for it etc all this because of a narrow loss he took to Jones and the supporters he gained after not getting destroyed even though he still lost.

he's sounding a lot like Tito Ortiz back when he was trying to artfully avoid fighting Chuck with how he's acting towards Rumble. Dana likely sees that and is pro'ally gonna start pressing him to take the fight soon.

What's sad is Gus is light on his feet and keeps distance well so he could likely keep the kinda flat footed AJ away long enough to score a decision on him.

I just hate how ufc are all over the map with the way they make their decisions, what exactly is the difference between what this idiot is doing and what he derided rashad for? does gus not only have a narrow window to make money? if hes the best wont he have to face every fighter in the division anyway? I was surprised to hear than not only is jones mending from his injury but cormier is going through with his surgery too. Perhaps gus might fight whoever is ready come jan 3 so ufc are playing ball
