I was about to say this is a good sci-fi futuristic God complex gimmick, but then I watched the promo and turns out he's just a geek who bows to a bytch and wants to suppress his anger and intensity in this COMBAT SPORT, yeah that's totally what you should do.... Dude has a decent look though, and can talk really, really well. How old is he?
Storm vs Jocephus at the Impact Zone in an empty arena match
Ok, empty arena match is cool, but why have it at the old Impact Zone. They don't operate out of there anymore, and both of them have no relation to that company... "Our boss Billy once fukked with TNA, so let's go have a match at their old arena, cuz the feud's about him, not us"
I think at this point they are just wrestling wherever they can. It doesn't seem like Corgan has any type of facility or even a ring, so I think they are just calling in favors and staging their matches however they can get them

Billy needs to stop being cheap. He's on to something though but they need a steady wrestling match platform quick.

)When you think about it, he only has a "roster" of three wrestlers and a manager. Yet he is keeping people's attention (at a very small scale).
What I like is that he is letting these people be themselves
production is great
stories >> than matches
clear motivations within those stories
I don't want him to go "too big too fast" and end up with a bloated roster full of guys we don't know AND don't care about. They have done a good job showing these guys so far and building them up. I don't know if I want him to immediately jump to weekly programming with a show and a bunch of matches like all of the other feds. I think for what he has talent wise it's good so far.

This is a company built around only three wrestlers. Where are the other champions? Didn't the NWA had like 10 different belts?

That's the confusing part. It seems like Corgan owns only the name and the world title, but yet there's all these other NWA belts floating around. My guess is he probably will work out a deal later on to vacate the majority of those belts and to bring the main ones (tag, junior, women's) back under his control.
In the meantime, he needs all the help he can get with coverage, promotion and actual venues to wrestle, so I guess it's easier to let all that slide for now than make enemies. That's my take.
