TV once a week (usually on sunday) Go outside everyday for an hour- hour and a half. This is non negotiable.

Punishments
will include push ups, burpees, up downs, jumping jacks, jogging etc...none of that spanking shyt.
:blessed: at this advice!

My kids have a lot of home when they comebhome from school so 4:15-6pm is homework/study time. Then 6pm-7:30 is either yoga or cheer practice (I teach them cheer) then its dinner, bath, and bed by 9pm. Doing that makes very little tv/playtime.

I make my girls do wall squats as punishment.

Outdoor activities on the weekends. Even if its just a jazz fest or picnic at the park. Also take your kids out to eateat early when they are young as well as establish table manners at home. It makes it so much easier to know your kid won't act a complete donkey at a restaurant.

When people say your kids act and copy eveyrthing you do or say, they seriously mean your kids will act and copy everything you do for the rest of their lives.

i have a 21 month old and wanna get her in daycare. its expensive but i think it would be good for her to be around other kids and just have some structure. at home, its more go with the flow. at daycare, at least you eat at a certain time. take naps at a certain time. all that stuff. was it worth the money for u? also if any dads know how to do daughters hair, share some tips please. my daughter has curly hair, but man, it dries up so easily. also how did you do potty training? my daughter never sits on the potty seat long enough to go. she has no patience.

Man, i keep fukking up my daughters hair everytime i try. :snoop: She hates having her hair in any pony tail or pig tail. She pulls it out with the quickness, im telling my wife, i got this. 15 minutes later she comes over and does it in 2 and looks a million times better.
Were going to start the potty training soon, shes 19 and pulls off her diaper every chance she gets. Someone told us, to take her every hour sit on the potty for like 10-15 minutes, if they dont use the restroom, reward them and never get mad at them. All i can say for right now is have patience cause she wont have it.

The way we potty trained (thanks in part to daycare) was they had a system where she went to the potty on schedule whether they needed to go or not. Have her on a schedule and at this point you also have a rough idea when she has to "go"
As far as a choice to daycare or not, I know well rounded/behaved kids who went to daycare at 6 months and others who stayed home with grandma till pre-k

You never know, I am paranoid about my son getting fair treatment at his school because of the breakdown at his school. But We let them know quick :usure: we were watching them.

It is just said you have to even go through that to get your child a decent education. If it wasn't for my son's dad he would already be in public school. They to have free online learning here, but I worry about him having the interaction.

The 5 yr old is in public sch till middle sch and it is rated very highly so we good..............for now

Looking in to homeschool since the possibility may be very real. My oldest daughter is very quiet and stays to herself which I guess makes her a target for bullying in school. This is the 2nd year a teacher (from a completely different school) has told me she's unable to complete her work because of kids picking on her and her grades are seriously being affected. I guess it's hard for the teacher to focus on one child in a class of 25+ kids and I think homeschool would be the best option for her to succeed academically.

Texas has all the online homeschool programs and plenty of curriculum options so I have plenty to chose from, it's just a matter of finding the best one for both kids.

i give you credit for handling the bullying stuff maturely. i fear for what will happen if it ever comes to that w my daughter, partly for my daughter's safety and sanity and partly for my freedom from prison.

hair wise i just spray her hair till its good and wet enough and put the moisturizer that works best for her hair type comb them naps out and brush it and put it in a ponytail or pigtails i aint shyt when it comes too hair :to:

potty training wise i made them go too the potty like every 30 mins and sit their for a few mins and every time they went say good job. i didnt let them where a pull up throughout the day if they show progress if no progress everytime i see em touch the pull up straight too the potty

i would say let them sit there for a while but that backfired cuz they would sleep on the potty instead :snoop:

Dont try to be your kids "best friend".

Whatever you say around them/near/within earshot will be repeated at the most inappropriate times :snoop:

put em on an 100% organic "diet". Their behavior will drastically change and grades will improve (along with information retention)...At least that's what works for me :yeshrug:
