I've been contemplating getting that Tomb Raider reboot for months after hearing nothing but good things about it, now I hear that an upgraded version is coming out for PS4 on January 31st, I'm so glad I waited and didn't cop on PS3

What is the point in letting us play games while the updates download if we have to close the app to install the update?

I think they need to improve that feature, it confuses me when it says you need an update but you can go ahead and play anyway only to realize you cant access certain features like online so I then have to close the game all the way out to install. I thought my shyt was broke the first few times this happened

The official PlayStation twitter account posted that the update is just to improve system software stability.

If I knew they were going to do that I wouldn't have bought the game day one for the PS3. Great game, it would have been nice to add another game for the PS4 launch window but I can't justify buying it again.
