No. You can use all the games you get free or buy or whatever on that system or other systems (up to 2 systems at least), that you buy from there. Actually, it works a bit differently now even still with the PS4, as you can log into any system and download and play your games and content on them, BUT, you can only do it on other systems while signed in as your account. But if it's your primary system, your other sub-accounts/game Ids can access that content still.

One thing I just learned I hate while watching netflix is that when u turn the controller back on it pops out to that screen asking who's holding the controller. That makes me lose my suggested movies while credits are rolling on what I just finished watching

Well, you could just set it that your controller never turns off. I'd advise against that of course though, considering the short battery life, lol.
