What a lot of people don't seem to understand is, the lack of day one features and games is because Sony and then MS, wanted to get the next gen consoles in your living rooms in 2013.

Had we had to wait for "ideal" release conditions where you get everything you want, it would have been Nov 2014 before we seen either console. Now some people say they would have been cool with that but, looking at the sales from both consoles says otherwise.

Do your homework before you cop a new console at launch. You should know the game at this point. I copped the quad specifically for non version of BF4 and 2K14 (great offline; 2K online is still ). Madden was probably the only mistake I made. KZ has also held me down. I'm good.

First quarter this year with Driveclub, MLB 14, and Infamous SS will be to go along with BF4, 2K14, and KZ for me. And I STILL got my triple and Vita.

Certain things should be implemented from jump.

Yall so blind you think it's ok for little things like themes and blue tooth support is ok being omitted.


I honestly didn't even know there was no video chat support till I tried to use it


My homie just got his camera and I told him how great the old eye toy was so he wanted to do a test run.


I had to Google to find out there was no video chat support.


That's just fukking stupid.

Yeah you can use your same PSN most of us did the same some have changed it. PSN plus is also exclusive to ps network so no need to buy a ps4 edition.

That 15 minute share button tho . I don't often upload clips. I just hit "share", "preview" and watch some of my own gameplay. Sometime I be like in hindsight at myself for the mistakes I make in the heat of the moment and I try not to make them again.

15 minutes is too short doe sometimes if you want to record 30 minutes of gameplay you gotta be checking with a timer.

yea, it's JANUARY 2014. It may seem to you as them "omitting" features but it's not exactly just a copy and paste job making a new system. I'd understand if it was June 2014 I'd agree with you but complaining about it incessantly is doing nothing because they already stated they're getting an update out this month for those features. If they delayed the console just to have it out with these features prime for launch, we'd be here still playing GTA Online. Heck, imagine if GTA V was delayed so it can launch with GTA Online day 1. Imagine that, GTA V launching November.

The most important features work out the gate. Imagine if they delayed PS4 so live from playstation could work flawlessly day one and release date was Nov 2014 we'd be pissed.

I'd rather have the system now, play with it and then be able to get features down the line as weeks go by rather than have nothing and wait weeks for something to launch. At the end of the day though, we knew about all this. This wasn't no sleight of hand, we knew exactly that such and such features weren't coming day one. It was still up to us to purchase it. Just saying.

Don't sell a camera if your video chat isn't ready that's shytting on the customer. I already have to deal with the struggle commands bit im not complaining because I know they will get better plus I didn't buy the camera for that. I bought it to stream and video chat.


I see some of yall in here dismissing psn problems. Why am I paying for this service now if yall can't get it right?

I have no idea. Again we both don't know what process needs to be done to get them to work. To me it seems like the system just came out early but the features weren't ready yet.

I'm not missing your point. Your stance is "Oh it's 2014 this should be standard!" but it's not like as if they're oblivious to the shyt. Again it just seems like some of these features that aren't ready weren't important enough to stall the release. Blutooth don't work?? Use a headset, either the shytty one included or your own 3.5mm plug headset.

How is that shytting on the customer?? It was an optional accessory and again they never promised to have video chat working out the gate. I know you ain't tryna hear that but it comes down to choice. Either get it now and wait for features or wait till features come out and get it later.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not saying shyt is perfect don't ask for more because I have a laundry list of things I want implemented but I already seen some of the things I wanted acknowledged by Sony through Shuhei Yoshida on Twitter so they know what we want.

PSN I agree needs to step it up in terms of not having to be down intermittently for maintenance. It being free last gen made it reasonable that it would undergo maintenance once in a while but now that it's a cost it should be better but again I don't know shyt about how they do their thing. I want to see more shyt feature wise though like I want to see how that gakai streaming works out.

Again don't take it as me copping pleas for PS4 as I already agree that there is a bunch of stuff that needs to be added to the system to make it pretty much perfect.
Things I want are:

• PS button takes you straight to whatever the system is notifying you about when it popups(Trophies, Messages, chat,) like the way 360 does
• Notify you when friends sign on or off.
• Show message text when receiving messages
• Animated themes, background customization, start up customization.
• Better organization for dashboard. The only box that should show up in the front row is the disc that's in, everything else should be in the library section. You should be able to categorize games by installed, favorites, or whatever.
• DLNA support, MP3 playback, photo viewer and video playback(both locally and through your network.)
• Blutooth headset support.
• Better remote play optimization
• Better browser.
• Allow video chatting while streaming so that you can start broadcasting a game and have 3 to 4 other cams on the side chatting with you while playing. You should be able to do that even if you're not broadcasting.
• What's new section should contain more news about game and video content and less about friends. I don't give a damn that my friend got a trophy in COD or that they was playing it earlier. Put that info somewhere else.

That's just off the top of my head.
