yes, they are...and right now, we (gamers) get access to everything for free....but they've had a serious traffic increase cause of the xbox1 and ps4, and that's only gonna rise...which means they gonna have to improve their service/equipment/servers, which means more money on their end...also, they gonna want more money just cause in the end you provide a service/business to make money....and right now, it's the advertisers footing that bill and not us, the gamers....that's why I'm cool with ads every 5 mins....the min they dont foot the bill, that trickles down to us the gamers...

Way faster!! So happy I have 2 controllers as well.
don't know in comparison, never used the usb...I copped the station and been using it since first day....I do know the station charges them fast as hell....
on a side note: I like how the light on the ds4 glows and pulsates depending on the battery level...
