I got 3 PS5’s in the house and I keep hearing the pro isn’t even at its full potential. Far as I understand not every game is benefited by the pro also. I feel like it’s a “give it another year” situation.

Basically, whatever games you playing on quality mode on the regular PS5, imagine those visuals but at 60fps. That's the easiest explanation for most games. It's one of those you gotta see it in person things.

It's good for some games if devs implement it well (AC Shadows for example), overall if you are not in a rush its fine. We will see what the AMD update does which is supposed to be out next year. If it can do well with GTA 6 I think it will be worth it for a lot of people.

Finally caved and got myself a little bday toy, the black dualsense edge controller. Not saying it improved my game in CoD but I'll take the placebo for this feeling.

Yes, 100% fixed, they even overhauled the progression system. Now it's a contender for the best RPG this gen. The Phantom Liberty DLC adds some much needed meat onto the story's bones. If you have a Pro, there's no dedicated patch, but Performance and Quality modes have both benefited from frame rate bumps.

Rogue Prince of Persia just dropped. It's similar to Dead Cells but with more platforming and a bit of Hades-inspired narrative-building for a roguelite. Free with PS+ and I think it's pretty good once you get the hang of the platforming and unlock some decent weapons.
