Wrong!
It’s actually way more complicated than that

Not by much. The global economy was fcked. So the fact that the entire globe was in a pandemic, manufacturing was almost at a standstill, being a glutinous consumer didn't help at all.

exactly. i knew it back then that they were gonna come back for all that, the gov aint giving out free money to the people without getting something in return

People didn't know how the future was going to look, then went crazy and bought everything their hearts desired. Meanwhile manufacturing was at a standstill. Off course that was going to cause major problems afterwards.

Its technically been a recession for the last 6 months...this just confirms it

The high unemployment will come after the Fiscal year takes place in September you dumb fukk
What are you basing this on
Tell that dumb fakkit @CrimsonTider, breh.
So you can’t explain how it’s felt like a recession
The unemployment #s are bullshyt and have been for 20 plus years
Are trying to say there isn’t a record low unemployment rate based on how we measure unemployment?

Yes the way it’s measured has changed over time. There are record people quitting their jobs right now and aren’t being added to the unemployment rates because of technicalities.

Demand is high because people are leaving their jobs all the time.

People are leaving jobs for other jobs, they’re not dropping out of the workforce

I was talking about demand of goods.

None of what you described are elements of a recession

High inflation doesn’t mean recession it actually means the opposite.

Crime and homelessness are not up due to the economy

I’m not from Canada :mjlol:
