I was a Mobb Deep stan when this dropped and copped release date off the strength.

My first impression was meh, because he went away from the lyrical miracle, super fluid, crazy descriptive flow into a more jagged gritty type delivery.

But the more and more I listened to it, the album just grew on me. His delivery wasn't as sharp, but what he was saying was just as poignant. And they kept the dark thematic album approach, which was dope. The joint is flames, but you gotta respect it for what it is, and not compare it to "The Infamous" or "Hell On Earth". You gotta look at it, on it's own.
