I was. It was about 2 years before my friend played it through and I heard the song.

I remember saving up my lunch money and walking all the way to the record store to buy the explicit version of the album. I made the huge mistake of buying the album the first time at Kmart and it was the edited version.


To me, the album was when it came out. Prodigy fell off something serious. I was a huge stan of his at the time. It seemed like he was trying way too hard with some of the records and he was sounding too. Still feel the same way except some records grew on me. That was the beginning of the end of my fandom for mobb deep. Still had respect for them but they weren't as good as they were in the 90s.

Did that with Pun's album. Actually, first I bought the cassette, returned it for the CD, accidentally bought the edited CD and returned it for the explicit.

To my understanding it's just a re-press of what was put out in 2000.
