Christie/Eddy/Tiger
Kuma/Panda
Jack6/P-Jack
Roger jr/Alex
Angel/Devil Jin
Forest Law/Marshall Law
Jaycee (aka Julia)/Michelle
Baek/Hwoarang
That's 17 characters 'with similar move sets,' so technically GoldenGlove is right. Coppin day one, don't think I'll waste time preordering cuz im gonna be running Lars/Bruce to start
Besides
Laws
Chreddy
and the animals
which are like palette swaps
The rest you named have different moves/combos/juggles
Just have the same fighting style...
take Hworang/Baek... all they have in common is Tae kwan do
Out of a command list of over a hundred moves, probably around five are the same...
and you named 17 out of a 50+ cast.. all with over a hundred moves.. game like this aint easy to make otherwise they would be dropping Tekkens every year like SF vs every 4 years
20?
Kuma/Panda
Eddy/Christy/Tiger( his moves look totally different from eddy in the video I saw btw...could be wrong though)
M.Law/F.Law
Roger/Alex
Is all I've seen so far

This is a terrible comparison. SF gets revised, they don't make a completely new game every year.
My point is, games with tons of characters with similar movesets are easier to make. Take SF for example. They have a lot of characters right? Well, when all the moves are fireball motions, dragon punch motions, and charge moves you can have more fighters.
Tekken isn't as bad as SF with this because it's a 3D game, but lets not act like the moves from fighter to fighter are so diverse. Tekken and SC have always had "mirror" characters, what I said wasn't a diss, it just is what it is. Some may praise the huge roster, and some may not. That's all.

That's cuz he don't know what he talking bout. The nikka don't even play Tekken. He in here cuz he loves me so much. I need a restraining order on this cat, Swollen Gums.![]()

Braziliian martial arts and Mexican wrestling has always been the same bruhthis motherfukker....this motherfukker said king and eddie have the same fighting styles.

since when?????But with that being said... in no way is this game easy to make in comparison to any of them shytty Crapcom games... See how long it takes you to balance a 3d fighting game with 50+ character with over 100+ command lists each... The moves between characters are very diverse aside from the palette swap characters, and most are based off real fighting styles or real people... some styles were created from scratch
