I tried it some early this morn. No go for music from the XMB. I'll have to add stuff to the Tekken Tunes some time.
I only did some Lab shyt and practice just to get the feel back for Tekken. Is there a way to go through the command list without having to manually pick the next move? If you're using a stick it's quite annoying pressing the select button and R1 to go to the next move. I'm not feeling Practice Mode because of this.
Bagged up like some groceries. Ready for some sparring tonight!

at how differeent the game was and was too lazy to learn it
The training mode is actually beast and stands up to VF imo. Even has notifiers on successful Punishments/Throw Breaks etc. Has all sorts of different situational settings for the dummy too. And you don't have to pause and refer to the movelist in training mode, you can pin it to the main screen and switch moves with button prompts.

Blasphemy.
It's better than it was on Tekken 6, but it doesn't stand up to VF5:FS Dojo mode AT ALL.
You can pin the commands and toggle through them, but you have to press 2 buttons to do so. This is wack for stick users IMO. I've gotten used to it after spending a lot of time in this mode, but still... It just doesn't go to the next move like it should, it doesn't even notify you if you did the combination or move/combo correctly either.
Another thing that it doesn't have is a simple reset button where you can just put your character back in the middle of the stage. This would come in handy when you're practicing juggle combos and TAG Assault stuff. You have to demo the move and then cancel out of the demo to reset the characters. Not terrible but still, not as easy as pressing a button.
AND another thing I don't like about it is how the inputs don't automatically change when you switch sides. It only displays what you should be inputting in from the 1P side. VF does this on the fly according to your position.
Now you might find this post as nitpicking in nature or whatever, but I've spend literally HOURS in VF's Dojo mode. And I've spent more time in TTT2's Practice mode than I have actually in matches because I'm really trying to get the basics down in this game so I'm not just smashing buttons when I get in matches. The thing I love about VF's Dojo mode is how easy it is to just go through moves and how easy it is to reset and start your combo training over. I tend to have to practice shyt over and over and over and over again to feel comfortable with it...The things I mentioned make it hard to do that like I'm accustomed to.
i might not cop cuz of this. i hate fighting games that lack a robust training mode. shyt is easy as hell to program and has been in previous editions!
hows that guide? does it have ALL the moves? i might ahve to cop just to have one place with all the moves. i hate pausing and constantly referring to the movelist. last Tekken I played competitively was TTT. i picked up T6 and wasat how differeent the game was and was too lazy to learn it

This is a Tekken Topic...

In GoldenGlove's defense TTT2 training mode can be a nuisance to stick players.
