From the looks of it the 360 top 10 are taking a dookie on the PS3 top 10,

That only further shows that there's lesser competiton over there. Lower bar of entry.

The debate on quality vs quantity is dumb. I've had my fair share of games on both consoles, SF4, SC4, VF5 and the comp is fine on both.

More people just mean it's more people playing. It doesn't mean the average skill of that group is better than the other.

Here's my proof... If you look at the battlepoints leaderboard..

Here's PS3 sitting at over 9000 pages long and this isn't counting the people only playing non-ranked player rooms

And if you click the Xbox 360 tab them nikkas barely hitting over 3000 pages

You're matched up by your rank not necessarily your skill level... But everyone is still accessible and most of all the top players still play in non ranked player match rooms.. Its just a matter of sending invites and/or joining rooms

There are some doubts I have, but you've provided way more sufficient evidence than I can.

The ratio will take a hit on both ends, which still ultimately by sheer logic deduction says your chances of finding more and better comp would be in the location that has the most number of comp.

Keyword LOGIC... something a lot of these guys don't seem to have..

Especially since all the tournament level players play Tekken EXCLUSIVELY on PS3..

To be fair, most Capcom tourney level players play EXCLUSIVELY on 360.

From my personal experience that hasn't been the case.

Dude you don't even know what to do against someone spamning you with sweeps you're not qualified to even speak on skill level.. Go back to Generic Fighter 5

To be more fair, Capcom isn't the title/topic of this thread, it's Tekken. And to be even fairer, the biggest video gaming tourney was played exclusively on PS3.

It's not the topic of the thread but I think it goes a long way to showing that the argument you're providing for PS3 works the other way for games you play regularly. Would you say that the skill level is lower for Capcom games? Or would you say that doesn't matter because XYZ. Or how about the additional frame delay on PS3 Cap games?

Biggest video game tourney was played on PS3 due to decisions made before anyone knew how well SF4 played on various systems. It would take too much money to go back on that decision. Even then, there were major complaints about the games being held on PS3 at the last Evo.
