Not really to be honest with you. The customization is a step back and theres a lack of bonus modes like scenario campaign, tekken ball etc.
Gameplay is virtually the same as well.

so i tried to cancle but it came in the mail anway, I ain't mad
Game is identical to tekken 6 with just an added tag feature imo tho, but I also thought Super Street fighter 4 was identical to SFIV and that Final showdown was the same as Virtual Fighter 5
what annoys me is that this game is essentially juggle central, once ur in the air u virtually stay there unless u have like 1 inch left on ur bar
