Watching highlights of the 2007 US Open Final made me feel a TAD better about the 2019 Wimbledon Final. :mjcry:

Joker was serving for the first set 40-0 and blew it; two advantages in deuce as well. Second set, two break points on Fed's serve at 15-40 and blew it. :wow:

That's my GOAT. :to:

Could tell how much better he used to move.

Most people have forgotten that Fed generally had his way with Novak, then once he hit his 30s and started declining (while Djokovic was entering his prime), the tables turned. 22-10 for Djokovic since 2011; 13-5 for Fed before that.

I can't argue with this.

He made a new generation fall in love with tennis again. His grace and calmness is something else.

Fed also makes it look easier than Nadal and Nole. They're fighters but Fed seems to be in a nice cruise control.
Nobody scrambles like those two and they're also great shot makers but there's nothing like watching the GOAT paint lines from all over the court. :wow: :lawd:

2004-2006 Fed will always be my GOAT. Even if Djoke has his number.

Fed at his best is the best player of all time. Period.
He was beating on the likes of Bagdhatis, Nalbandian and Hewitt. When Murray and Djokovic came of age he struggled. Cant be the best when you dominated in a weak era but in the widely approved Goat era, you're 3rd best:stopitslime:he's kinda like Mike Tyson in a way. At their best Djokovic grinds Federer down mentally and punishes those errors and you can Federer fears Djokovic.

Fed played some of his best Tennis in his 30s, just so happens it was the greatest era of tennis and he came up against equal or better players.

He dominated a far weaker era, putting his titles in perspective against quality opposition Djokovic has been more dominant.

Thats fine, im not arguing that.

Im saying in terms of his actual skill and aesthetics of his game. When he is at his best its the best tennis to be played, ever.

Whether he did it against the toughest players or not is irrelevant to me. If you want to argue novak had the better career because of it. Ok. Thats not what im saying.
