I misremembered the bracket. :snoop:

The only hope is Berrettini pulls a Stan, beast mode routine on Novak AND Nadal back-to-back or Tsitsipas breaks through in this tournament. :sadcam:

Late, random thought but dead ass, Thiem's 2020 US Open will NEVER count in my personal record book. :scust:

It damn sure don’t count to me either bruh. For one, the big 3 was missing, & 2 Zverev gave the got the damn match away bytching up 3 straight sets. Lastly, Thiem just fell off a cliff after that. Maybe he’s injured, idk, but he need to take some time off badly and regroup

Ok so race for #1 is simple:

To retain, Novak has to equal winning Wimbledon and reaching or the FO final (winning helps)

Medvedev, wins 2 matches at Wimbledon and Novak doesn’t win Wimbledon and he’s #1. He has a shyt load of points to defend after Wimbledon so his #1 probably would be short lived

At this point, they might as well not even have the French Open as a 4th major. These players dont seem to mind quitting in this tournament at all. Is it the clay or what?

I dont know what other tournament to elevate to a 2 week event though.

This is the perfect scenario for Serena to win another slam. But she's not moving well from side to side.

Sucks, I wanted to see a Djokovic/Federer quarter final
Not surprised. Him and his team basically used RG as practice. They didnt even expect him to win the 2nd/3rd round & knew he wasnt beating Novak/Rafa here. He got 3 solid matches in and one was 3.5 hours. Now he can fully focus on grass- Halle & Wimbledon. I wonder if he'll sneak Stuttgart in there too.
