Not surprised. Him and his team basically used RG as practice. They didnt even expect him to win the 2nd/3rd round & knew he wasnt beating Novak/Rafa here. He got 3 solid matches in and one was 3.5 hours. Now he can fully focus on grass- Halle & Wimbledon. I wonder if he'll sneak Stuttgart in there too.

yea if RG didn’t have an extra week in preparation this year, no doubt he woulda went through but with Halle starting soon, no need to risk it. Too much to ask to go through Berrittini, Novak, then Rafa

these younger girls aren’t intimidated by Serena anymore. The Serena they grew up watching in the early-mid 2010’s, the one who’s serve was still A+ and movement was still too notch, is long gone now. She won’t win Wimbledon either I bet unless her draw is a cakewalk
